The other peafowl was also static flying only. And it is odd, because I’m pretty sure they use the same rig as other dynamic flying birds.
Love it now i have a cool mount just to steady flight it, so sick of having to switch between the two.

Can confirm, just tried. Makes it even weirder that the new one is static only, if it is (I’m not gonna buy it just to test). I would assume it’s probably a bug.

Darn that peacock looks really cool and crazy!
It would possibly be a good idea for me to get it if it remains only static, as like 1% of the time I do use Static, and switching styles is kind of a pain. (to me)

EDIT… got it, and it doesn’t automatically switch me to static flight, as I had hoped.

I have one of those drains too! Probably a lot of stuff down there I have forgotten about over the years…
It’s likely a bug and I reported it as such here: Brilliant Sunburst Peafowl is unable to Skyride
The Soaring Sky Fox was also erroneously released in its shop bundle with Skyriding disabled, but it was fixed later that day.

Yeah they fix everything eventually.
I’m hesitant to add it is a “favorite” for now, but will use it as a “ground mount”, perhaps on Siren Isle or other places like that.

the motorcycle seems like such a waste of time when we literally never get to use them except in time limited zones

They’re testing out dynamic ground mounts in the next patch so I would be kind of surprised if we don’t see more ground/steady flight mounts coming down the pipe. Unfortunately.

Since it uses the same model as the other Peafowl (which I use frequently on my nightborne!) I ASSUME the new peafowl will get skyriding eventually… If it doesn’t it will be a huge miss on Blizz’s part.
