Brightly Colored Eggs/Chocolate Auto Loot Now?

Very confused just now, I know I collected eggs, but everytime I looted 5 or 6 I’d go to my bag and they were gone? So, paying attention, it’s auto opening them now and adding the chocolate. Was this a hotfix because it was not like this yesterday and as far as I’m aware, I do not have an addon installed that auto opens these.

If blizz did this intentionally - :heart_eyes:

Edit: it’s TomCatsTours doing it.

That addon may have been disabled yesterday on my alt, and enabled today.

Thanks to comments I googled it, they did this last year too? I’ve not done Noblegarden in a few years!

As far as I’m aware, no, it’s not Blizzard.

On one of my alts I grabbed like 10 eggs while honking at the ducks for the quest and the eggs remained intact and I needed to open them myself.

I wish Blizzard would do this; it’s tedious opening more than 30 eggs to get the chocolate.

Well now I’m very curious as to which addon I have that is now auto-looting them but was not auto-looting them yesterday scratches head

Yeah not seen anything doing this…which I wish they would because collecting and then clicking each egg one at a time is annoying…

I’m literally grabbing the eggs, they go into my bag momentarily and then it auto loots whatever the egg had in it, including chocolate, pets and transmog.

Is a Weakaura a possibility?

Otherwise, the only other thing I can think of is addon settings differing between characters if you’re swapping alts for the holiday event like a lot of people are for the mount.

I’ll have to get home from work to test it myself. It wasn’t that way yesterday and I’ve not seen anything on it.

I don’t think I even have weakaura … I’ll check when I get back home from picking the kids up from school …
Same toon I was on yesterday, so not different settings.

If this fix isnt a thing (havent done any eggs today) you could set a macro that says “/use Brightly Colored Egg” so you dont have to click each one.

Do you have TomCat Tours installed? More than likely this is an addon doing it.

Auto loots on my desktop with the addon installed. Does not with my Steam Deck which does not have the addon installed.

I do know for sure I have that installed, not sure if an update this morning pushed this through to auto loot, as it didn’t do this yesterday. Didn’t pay attention to which add-ons updated this morning via curse.
It’s not a complaint, I’m loving it. I’ll be back to farming eggs here in a bit. Got almost 100 eggs in about 15-20 mins.
I’d just love to know what is doing it if it’s not a blizz hot fix.

Yes. If Blizz is not doing auto loot, I think just having them stack would make a huge difference.

Good to know, thank you. I had to dash to get the kids so I couldn’t check right now. They must have updated the addon from yesterday then.

Back home now, just tested, it is indeed TomCats - Thanks again!

Making them stackable would also let them give more than 1 as a reward from the dailies, which honestly just feels a bit awkward as it is.

Installing this now. If it still autoloots them, that’ll save time/eyesore/click pain.

They are opening on my horde. toons, but my on my ally toons they go into the bag and I have to open them manually. Wondering if it’s an option that is toggled on somewhere.
