Brian's take on RDF

He is either a dev who believes in the strengths of his convictions. if so…well, yeah. Keep on going after that whale ahab lol. didn’t go well for him…maybe this goes better.

Or has joined “don’t you have a phone” dude as the guy who drew shortest straw to give out some really contentious news. May even not like it but sometimes you get paid to push that company line. So you push the line. Been there, I cannot judge. Food don’t put itself on the table. Be nice if it did…but alas.

He is main dev who has spoken to us on this as the face of classic wow the short version.

Exactly this. Players choose to ‘interact’ however they want to, LFD and off-server party member selection do not effect this.

My latest BC H group: “hey all”…23min later… “Thanks everyone!”.

Look at my post history. Not a whole lot of whining there.

Many things make sense now, good to know the Lead plays Horde.

Anti-LFD is about forcing everyone else to play a fan fiction version of a game that never existed

lead devs have always played horde

well this is good to know.

But, according to their own posts the Devs don’t really play that far into their own game “this one time in WC”.

I’m surprised he was even able to find a WC group rather than being through the “classic” experience of mage boosts.

If I remember correctly from the interviews, he mains a mage. Sooo some of the stuff not working correctly is “working as intended” ya see.

Like right now I can pet nova your warrior and hard cast frost bolts most of the time until nova expires (not breaks). In actual TBC Nova broke just about on any of my damage; no matter the school used.

This change to how nova works / breaks is really obvious to anyone who PVP’d as a mage, and even likely some who PVP vs us. Thing is, its game breaking and they don’t care.

so that’s why he doesn’t want LFD, he’d lose out on money from dungeon boosting lowbies

a hopeless case 'Classic devs ’

Well the guy in charge of Blizzard actively SELLS boosts (for gold allegedly) so it makes sense why they just allow bots, because its the Bots that farm the gold in retail and then put it on the AH for wow tokens.

Was gathering some herbs to help level up my alts alchemy, stopped by Stratholme to check out the scene: At the time I am writing this comment, on Benediction there’s about 35 level 70 Paladins ready to boost.

Meanwhile a level 63 Warrior in the guild I’m in complained how with a server this big, they thought it would be easier to find a dungeon group. Immediately a couple people chime in to tell us all how Dungeon Finder kills community, and how their guild wouldn’t be around if it existed on Classic.

These are the same type of people that complain that they won’t play Wrath.
