Yeah you’re right sorry. It’s just the unlocking of all mega servers (last week?) that’s caused the new wave of fresh bots.
IF we still had real GM’s then it would only take 1 to spend 1-2 hours a week popping into AV battlegrounds to ban bots on sight and this would be much less of a problem.
it has everything to do with it because its not a recent spike, its been there since the beginning of Wrath.
Apparently you werent pvping early on in Wrath.
For what it’s worth I get where you’re coming from with this.
One of the nice things going for the locked mega servers was that you didn’t see bots everywhere in the world, even if they were on other servers, because if an account got banned a new one couldn’t just be created. There were still some bots in the BGs but yes there was a drastic increase of complaints when the mega servers got unlocked for new character creations.
Both unlocking those servers and keeping the “free 55 DK” were developer decisions. So although the new character creation could be argued as a good thing the 55 DK thing really is not. Continuing to allow that instant 55 even with the rampant botting still is more about the developers putting the focus on the wrong things instead of recognizing what would improve the quality of the game.
As for the person you’re replying to they’ve said flat out that they get their fun from trolling people both in the game and on the forums so keep that in mind when you reply to them.
