Brewmasters: what’s your least favorite healer?

I never feel more in danger for my life than when an H Pal gets in group. Maybe just bad luck but oof.

I’m not the best out there obviously but I feel awful at the game right now with our damage intake.

Its possible that I just had bad luck as well but Holy paladin by far and that is followed by Holy priest.

Disc, both restos and lizards seem fine.

As a holy paladin i agree we do alot of spot healing and brewmaster is all over the place with health. Once we go through all holy shocks and wods its just maintence mode.

But tbh holy paladins dont like healing brew either its hard lol.

P.s. i loved playing brew but waiting on it to not be so difficult to play to get back into it.

Yeah I can imagine if the synergy doesn’t work well we both dont like it

Holy Paladin for me too. To the point that I avoid them like the plague. Some Fistweavers are annoying, but not as bad as Paladin.

Now that you mention it, I don’t know if I’ve even played with many MW or Evokers. Disc and shaman definitely feel better. Druids even feel fine for me. Just struggle with the group as a whole.

I’ve had the best experience with:

  • Disc priests ( Healing me 33% of their healing and 66% of that atonement in +12 SV)
  • R Druid (where my healing doesn’t even seem to matter anymore)
  • I am sure this would include MW and pres if I ever saw any

I’ve had the worse experience with:

  • Holy Paladin because Blizzard seems to be only considering tuning around class raid performance, and they don’t synergize well with Brew.
  • R Sham because 80% of the healers are R Shaman which means a majority of them don’t have a lot of experience with the class, given it wasn’t previously popular, and underperform.

Id say HPal and Rsham as well.

Brew takes a lot of DoT damage from Stagger, even if it is cleansable.
RDruid, Disc, MW work well for them as its mostly HoT (in terms of not a one click one heal)

Me and my rsham friend met at the beginning of legion and have run as a duo since. Minus some time off both of us took. I’m always thankful for her healing experience specifically on the same character for all these years. Druid hots really feel good with stagger but a massive mastery backed healing surge is sometimes a godsend.

But you’re right about experience. I’ve had a couple dungeons where you could tell it was brand new shaman cause why not. It’s the hotness. It’s painful.

I like Lizards, Shammys and Disc Priests. Those are the main healers I see nowadays.

Hpal and MW, they’re perfectly fine but melee DMG to healing conversion in this meta isn’t ideal. There’s a lot of good melee specs viable in M+, having the healer in the mix clogging the lanes can lead to a lot of chaos.

I dunno what holy paladins ya’ll are running with, but I’ve had no issues healing brews in 10+ keys. They’re by far the worst tank out of the bunch, and their health spikes are much less predictable than, say, bdk, but I’ve yet to let one die and I don’t know a single healer that can’t keep a tank alive this season, regardless of who they are.

They’ve never let me die, I haven’t had issues getting healed really. But whether it be bad representations of the class or otherwise, the ones I’ve run with have struggled to heal the group more than anything. At least compared to the rest of specs (I still haven’t seen a Holy Priest).

Not as much of an issue if you’re not pugging I guess.

Maybe you should hold a class on not letting monks sweat so hard.

Holy Priest by a mile.

Their HpS is really the lowest into dogpoop area.
