im trying to create a weakaura that only displays how many stacks of purifying brew/ironskin brew i have available to use. im still new(ish) to making weakauras. linking what i have to see if someone can see what im doing wrong.

Not really familiar with monks but I checked those on Wowhead and they are spells and not aura/buffs/debuffs (your trigger was checking an aura status). You need to essentially tracking the cooldown progress of a spell and not the remaining duration of a buff.

Change the Trigger
Type: Status
Status: Cooldown Progress (spell)
Spell Name: either Purifying Brew or Ironskin Brew. They share charges and have the same cooldown so it doesn’t matter, just choose one (see below*)
Stacks: > 0
Show: Always

* If you had a talent or something else that made 1 spell uncastable/unavailable then you would need to have 2 weak auras (1 for each spell) and an additional trigger on both to hide the unavailable one and show the available one. If that is possible, let me know what the availability conditions are and I can help you with that.
