I played a brewmaster monk in BFA, and I feel like stagger is supposed to be a core part of out kit. but unless your raiding or semi-deep mythic+ your stagger RARELY ever fills up, you can pretty much ignore iron-skin/purifying brew for 90% of the time and for most content.
It felt like a real let down most of the time that my core flavor abilities were never needed and had 0 effect. I was just left with 3 useless buttons unless i was raiding.
It was plently fun and usefull while raiding, sure. But I think it would be nice if it could have more of an involved part of your questing and solo content somehow.
just taking a quick glance at your profile and im assuming you’re just sticking to heroic dungeons which you are over geared for so im not sure why you’re complaining the game isnt hard and you buttons you dont need to press when you’re not even doing challenging content…

If you ignore Ironskin Brew, that might be a big part of the reason your stagger never reaches dangerous levels. You’re taking 57% more up-front damage instead of staggering it.
But if you’re not doing difficult content, then you’re probably just not taking enough damage to bother. That’s not a Brewmaster issue.

The vast majority of tank AM (active mitigation) has no part in questing or soloing content. This is not an issue unique to brewmaster. For example a leveling prot pally can do fine completely ignoring SOTR.

If it filled up questing/solo it would overflow almost immediately when in difficult content and Brewmasters would be complete garbage.
Brewmaster isn’t for solo/questing. Use WW or MW.
