Brewmaster Spotted in a MDI

Here’s one of the top Chinese Brewmasters in the world attempting to tackle a +9 MDI run with a Brewmaster Monk. While it’s undeniably a massive pull—as all MDI pulls tend to be—it’s still just a +9, and the Brewmaster struggles to keep up!

Did I say struggle ? I meant HE DIED

I mean tbf thats a stupid pull lol. I don’t think any tank except blood and pally to immune the debuff would be good but even then multiple trees stunning people idk.

Also dont know his build or if he’s playing it right, a lot of brews tend to just ignore ox stance and don’t seem to believe in freezing stagger

Ah yes those MDI players being bad. Well known skill issues.

Well this Chinese one in particular people are kinda trashing them compared to EU and na lol

tbf, we monk players decide to throw all the way back from the character select screen

With a timestamp.
Even commentators are blown away that they are seeing a monk. They both went “wow

Same first pull and BrM does half the damage of VDH lmfao
Look at BrM and VDH health bars too.
LOOK AT THAT HEALING DIFFERNCE TOO Sure, some of it went to other members but most of it likely went onto brew.

Blizzard is actually braindead by not buffing brews.

Their not braindead - their racist against monks

Let’s not say that. The term racist has been over used in so many incorrect situations that it has lost it’s meaning.

We can say they are classist, since monk is a class not a race, we can say they have failed at their jobs, we can say a lot. but lets not say racist in a situation which is clearly nothing to do with a race in game or out of game.

Isn’t dh healing inflated as hell by meta now?

The problem is if they designed brewmaster very poorly with no foresight. If they buff brew then at lower levels they can just walk through dungeons without using any ability.

They simply just need to make stagger a buff that needs to be maintained. Our defensive spells should buff this stagger and that’s where the skill should lie

Even if some adjustments were to make Brew stronger in M0’s and M2s, doesn;t change the fact that warrior’s ignore pain is the fattest 100% uptime mitigation in the game.

Lower ilvl brews also SUCK BIG TIME. As a brew first week of keys i felt extremely weak. Now, being 629 ilvl, I feel alright. Damage and sustain wise more or less. In 10’s. Of course, warrior in 109’s feels HELLA BETTER than brews…

The question is not whether Brews are capable tank for an average player doing 8s-12s, ofc they can do such keys, it’s the question WHY does it have to be so much harder than other tank specs, especially in comparison to Paladins and Warriors.

Right? If anything brewmaster should be a littler easier to be on par and have the ability to excel with the right play. Being the hardest tank to master and all.

It is already a buff that’s maintained lol

I was doing +8-9 at 595 item level on my brew.

I felt very strong for my ilvl. I don’t believe any of this after playing it for myself.

The only problem I had was threat initially when playing with a geared dps

At low levels who cares? Any tank can walk through a random dungeon or heroic and solo it without dropping below 95% hp, pulling everything in the instance.

Whats so wrong with being slightly overpowered that Brewmaster isn’t allowed to have fun, yet Prot War, VDH in DF, and Prot Paladin int the current season can be insanely overpowered.
