I recently just started getting into brewmaster and wanted to know if we are good at flag carrying or have any arena comps.
Arena, not in this burst meta, no. Flag carrying? In casual random bgs I have tons of fun as BM. We make especially good node guards, and our best strength is pushing massive amounts of players back in epic BGs. We can break zergs like no other.
If You’re looking for competitive meta pvp, brew isn’t it, but it’s still fun and rewarding in my opinion.
If only to ring of peace and ox kick as many players off of bridges and towers as you can :>

Brewmaster is a ton of fun with like minded people. Brew master can peel a flag carrier until the end of time using the flame talents and tiger palm resets on fire breath. If your playing with a large group of friends, its actually easy to almost permanently cc a large group of players using fire breath and lucky tiger palm procs (disorients them with a pvp talent) This can be taken to the next level with the other legendary Brewmasters have available. Damage though, I dont expect you to beat any class in a fight. Brewmaster will have to be running objectives, think of it as a big annoying, cc machine.
Is Brew any good at running flags in RBGs? Just curious if they can fill that role as well.
No, Brew is not good at running flags when compared to a tank DH with more self heals and better mitigation and equal mobility.
No, Brew is not good at running flags when compared to a Bear Druid who has top mitigation and better mobility when talented correctly.
No, Brew is not good at running flags when compared to a prot pallies out right instant cast heals and ability to not be slowed when talented correctly, and lets not forget the pallies aoe disorientate blinding flash.
No, Brew is not good at flag running when compared to the amazing self heals of Blood DK who can dps, mitigate magic (the #1 form of damage in bgs), and has more extra lives than a mario game.
Yes, Brew is better than most dps running flags… unless your talking about high mobility dps like a WW monk who is actually a better flag runner then the tank spec or a dps DH who is still better then Brew at running flags.
