I mained a monk from MOP to the initial pruning at the end of the expansion. I always loved playing WW with a staff.
I just started playing my monk again and, the new animations for staffs are amazing for brewmasters. I am wishing WW had some of these awesome abilities and wep animations with the 2 hander staffs.
Really impressed with brew master only wish we had some of these fun abilities and wep types on WW.

I know the feeling. The articaft weapons shoulder carry is epic as hell and the swinging brews at the end are great. The only thing keeping me from WW and MW this expansion is that the transmog goes away automatically when I swap specs.

The spec itself is so awesome. I am still kinda salty i cant use 2 hander staffs anymore on WW. But i will have to reroll tank then. Breath of fire and the artifact animations are worth it.
Brew is fun as heck to play. And compared to other tanks it is the most dps feeling in my opinion. No real CD just a more static rotation/ priority. If you cant keep ISB up 100% of the time and be able to purify often enough to make a difference you are doing something pretty horribly wrong.
Other tanks really have to worry more about timing their active mitigation just right. Plus brew has a ton of cc and I would argue one of the best tank CDs in the game with ring of peace. The absolute best tank CD in game belongs to balance druids though. Trees… trees everywhere.

What Race and Gender is your Monk?
I seen some weird things, like the Male Draenai uses the new Staff Sweep animation while the Female Draenai uses the standard Jump-smak-down animation, Female Pandaren also use the standart 2h animation for a Special Attack, same with Female Blood Elves.
I not want to list them all … but some Race/Gender combos just use the basic Special attack animation which is disapointing.
I would love that Big Keg from Legion as Talent for Brewmaster … how come almost every Class/Spec combo got a Talent that took the graphic from the Artifact Weapon Skill and turned it into something? Just Brewmaster Monk its like nope.
Yeah we got that Black Ox Statue and Nizuao the Black Ox as Summon … but wish my keg is back …

Orc male monk. Im actually not a bog fan of the statues they dont really provide interesting gameplay for me but i am totally with you if you think brew masters need some old school brew abilities back. My bars be super slim, still fun though
Yeah, Orcs are fine, Male and Female … i think, animation wise. Blood Elf Female use their base Special Attack Animation
The Statues are fine … though they remind me more at a Shaman then a Monk.
The Brewmaster Statue is only good to misuse it to farm mob, in a Dungeon if you’re in a pinch it won’t get aggro … for that you have to pull with Jade Lightning or a Taunt so it can taunt the other mobs. Throw a Keg in as a pull mechanic and it wont get aggro.
It is however pretty good in M+ Bosses that summon adds that go for the Healer like the first one in Tol Dagor or the second i. Underrot.
The Nizuao Summon is more useful, though he has a hard time to get aggro off of you like the Statue … he does decent damage and is good if you want burst damage
The Mistweaver one is pretty pointless … all it does is duplicate your Mist base channel … though it keeps casting it on that target until you cast that Channel Mist on another target.
I not need back allot … the Artifact Big Keg would be nice …

I never played monk in legion. I will look up the keg ability
Uh … you missed out! Imagine you have a aiming-ring like for Ring of Peace … but then your Monk throws a Keg the size … hmmm … like that Nizuao Summon … and then BAM! lol
The best you can do, search for _Brewmaster in p1 the best strategy was to throw the normal and that big Keg onto that demon.
