So with a planned release date of Sept 26th, and Brewfest typically running from late September to early October, what is the current plan for brewfest?
TBC Launched in June and by the time Brewfest came around, it was nice to have variations of the badge vendor trinkets available as Brewfest rewards. P1 was already well underway and it was a good catch up trinket for those slightly behind, or a way to double dip on the badge vendor trinkets for the min/maxers.
Would Brewfest be actively going during the prepatch event leading up to WotLK launch?
Could Brewfest be delayed until February or so?
If Brewfest opens in Prepatch with a 3.3.5a game client, will the brewfest trinkets that drop at level 70 match the level 80 ones? Would we even be able to participate in the BRD area?
no? it takes half an hour at most to do the 5 runs for a mount, less if you have a healer or a tank alt. I also dont sympathise with the meta-slaving grindstone mentality of most min-maxers and i wont autistically quest and dungeon grind to max level non-stop, i would love a nice diversion with brewfest farming.
In all likelihood they’re just gonna delay the event or release it early.
With how long I used double Brewch in TBC, I’m gonna really want to get the Brewfest trinket on my main if I could. I’d have liked to get it on my alt as well, but… better than nothing.
Many people probably getting screwed on this thanks to Blizzard’s awkward wrath release date. History has already shown that they don’t care about seasonal events either. Last time quests were broken or missing, max tickets/rewards unobtainable, nothing done to compensate for the waste, it’s pitiful.
I believe it should be delayed.
Pre patch will be in client 3.3.5 a
meaning the world events will all be lich king versions
It should be delayed for at least 1 to two months after lich king is released
I’ve been wondering this exact same thing, so I’m glad someone finally posted it here. I already have the Ram on multiple characters, but it’d be super nice to be able to save some badges on the trinkets early on.
