Brethlun the Brand is stuck in Barthlias preventing a large group of people from progressing with the main quest line. Please fix this ASAP. Requires immediate attention.

Bug reports need to go to bug forums or ingame bug reports the QA doesnt come here.
Ehhh, this is something that does need swifter attention than a mere bug report, at least IMO. The NPC mentioned here is part of the introductory quest chain for the expansion. If nobody on Barthilas as whole can advance the quest, that is a pretty significant impact, since it gates an entire expansion’s content.
This does still need a bug report, but I wouldn’t call it wise to leave it at that were I typing in blue. Kalv knows best, though. He’ll see this and know what to do, if anything can be done.

Well, according to support articles, it’s already been fixed once before. That’s interesting for sure.

This seemed like a faster path to get vision on the issue mate. There was about 30-40 people sitting staring at this NPC unable to do anything. I’d like to think if the staff had seen this as part of a customer response issue, it would have been passed along to someone who could amend the issue in the meantime, and I was writing under the pretense the issue was already known as I found it prior.
This is still happening in 9.1.

Definitely not fixed, cannot kill Brethlun the Brand who keeps evading. More and more players couldn’t get the key and stuck at that part of the campaign quest.

Still stuck here on Perenolde. Can’t progress further! This is the thread that bug reports took me too, do they not monitor these?

FYI, going into Warmode and going back there will let you complete it 
He isnt bugged in Warmode.
