Is this item gonna get unique ? it seems pretty strong tbh and is it fairly easy to get, I don´t want to farm 2 of them just to get “nerfed” the next day/week.

I’m in the same boat. If its not getting nerfed, I need two of them and the hit ring so I can reach hit cap.
But it very much feels like it was an oversight that it doesn’t have the Unique tag, since the ring DOES have the tag. Don’t really want to farm two trinkets only to have it get fixed overnight.
It is roughly equivalent to Rune of the Guard Captain for a level 50 character, which is a green quest item. Hardly nerf worthy.
EDIT: Well, guess someone at Blizzard didn’t agree with me. I’m surprised they did this, considering Horde can just use 1 Breadth + Rune of the Guard Captain, while Alliance has no equivalent to the Rune. Allowing 2x Breadths would have been better for faction balance than having them unique.
that item is horde only, so it is not an equivalent for me, and it has crit also, and hit cap is better for bosses as a melee

1% crit = ~20 attack power for a melee at level 50
The only mistake is that the trinket is blue. It should be green like guard captain.

Ain’t no way this is right. There are so many effects that rely on crit, so I don’t think you can simply say 1% crit is a similar amount of damage as +20~ ap.

Out of 100 attacks one of them will Crit.
Out of 100 attacks all 100 benefit from 20 attack power

1%crit=1% damage+any damage from effects triggered by crit.
Crits proc certain effects though. A crit for ret paladin gives vengeance, so keeping it up at all times is important. A crit for warriors gives double rage which is their fuel for abilities. Crits for fire mages gives them instant pyro, etc etc.
Also, if you have 5000 AP and 5% crit, a 1% crit boost is going to be far more of a DPS boost than 20~ ap would ever be. (Using 5000 AP is hyperbole just to easily make a point).
This is why sims exist.

yeah obviously sim it if you care enough but for Ret crit is gapping AP for me.
Whole spec revolves around crits resetting exo and spamming that.

Thought it was unique, looked and it isn’t. IMO not unique is fine otherwise all that will happen is 50s will go to bfd of the pearl for an easier to get trinket. You can 5 man that at 50 I would think.
Farming 12x3 wild offerings is far more annoying imo why I find it fine.
Ah, the ring is unique. Swore I saw something was unique.
Edit: Trinket is hotfixed to be unique.

It’s unique now. Second one gone from inventory. If someone from blizz sees this could you consider a refund of the 12 which is 2 hours of time minimum to get?

it’s been hotfixed to unique within the last hour and if you have 2 and logout, one gets deleted
Ninja hotfix, nothing posted, and randomly people lose an item they spent time farming for. GG blizz. GG.
How about a refund for the item, so we can at least buy something else?

I didnt even farm one. But not refunding was pretty dog.
Could have hotfixed it to unique equipped and gave it a 12 wild essence sell value.

Im honestly pretty mad, I had this weekend off and farmed these trinkets. Now I have to go back to work and it feels like I lost the progress altogether. Some people may have farmed it quickly but it took us 6 hours in brd. Where’s the refund blizz??
I kind of get why blizz deleted the second one: If you had both equipped they would both work until you unequipped one.
No win situation for blizz and the minority who farmed two trinkets took the hit. This was always a possibility and you took the gamble. Sorry it didn’t work out more favorable.
P3 was rushed. Oversights slipped through.
