I’ve been trying to unlock the Tuskarr faction with no luck. I’ve confirmed via WoWHead that I have not completed the first quest, Breaching the Brackenhide.
I’m sitting at 20.56 35.67 in the Azure Span, and confirmed it’s the precise spot Kalecgos should appear from some videos online, by coordinates, map view, and surroundings. He’s just not there. I’ve even checked his other haunts just in case.
All my other factions are at least level 5-9, Iskarra is at Renown level 2 (but isn’t unlocked). If there is some hidden precondition for this quest, I can’t figure out what that is. Every source I’ve found online seems to indicate you just walk up to Kalecgos and start the quest chain.
Am I missing something?
Edit: Further to this, I just got to Renown 3 with the Tuskarr. I didn’t get the normal Renown popup (Dragon Isles Summary page still says it’s locked, and I need to complete “To Iskaara”, which is a later quest in the chain I’m attempting to start). BUT, the quest bird came looking for me and offered the Community Feasts quest, which is indeed a Renown 3 reward.
How the heck is this supposed to work?
