Just a simple question. I was wanting to do some brawlers content and realized it is shut down right now. Any word on new brawlers guild coming out?
Usually comes out in the X.1.5 patch if I recall correctly. It’s always closed in the beginning.

Yeah Brawlers guild is always closed until 1.5 or later patch.

Radio silence from Blizzard. Definitely not returning during Shadowlands, and no idea if it’s even going to return at all. The achievements for Brawler’s Guild were moved to the Legacy category, which could mean that it was permanently retired.
There is a chance the Brawler’s Guild could return in a future expansion regardless of the Legacy Achievements status as Ashran’s achievements were once moved to Legacy as well.
I have a feeling that like the pet battle dungeons, it isn’t their priority right now.

“The new season for Shadowlands has not yet been announced.” That would seem to be about it on the official front.
Nope, most likely abandoned due to poor subscription numbers and them hurrying to end SL since this expac is a flop. it got the WoD treatment basically.
This has been a thing since MoP, because of the different seasons.
The MoP achievements got moved to legacy when the WoD prepatch launched.
The same happened with the WoD ones when the Legion prepatch dropped, and it happened again with the Legion ones when the BFA prepatch came out.
SO, this one thing? Not as alarming as you might think.
The total silence from Blizzard, though — now, that is the weird part!
I’ve always liked the brawlers guild, it’s the fun type of challenging solo content I’m after.
Nothing tied to it, get to watch other people get rekt, just good old fashioned fun

Thanks! That does give me a little hope. They didn’t say it wasn’t coming back. And a friend of mine noticed NPCs in there the other day. I thought they never left but he swears they did. Just loved hanging out in there.
The Brawler’s Guild will come back the same time we get the 8 missing heritage sets and missing garrison armor.

I meant that the ENTIRE Brawler’s Guild category of achievements got moved to Legacy, not just the BfA ones.
However, a similar thing happened to the Ashran achievements, but it didn’t stop Ashran from becoming available again.
The Brawler’s Guild achievements being moved to Legacy most likely means they don’t plan to add a new season for it before the next expansion. It’s still unclear as to whether or not Brawler’s Guild will actually return. If it does return, it probably won’t be until sometime during the next expansion. A Shadowlands Brawler’s Guild season is extremely unlikely at this point.
I just wish there was more to it. The difficulty ramp up makes sense with how its set up, but really it just feels like 90% fluff 10% engaging fights, at least in the standard ranks.
Have appropriate gear for the patch it releases in? Grats, only the last couple fights will mean anything and you’ll be burst windowing your way through most of the rest without a thought.
