Ah yep, was in one with 3 alliance healers vs 2 horde healers. Horde lost.
Not worth a 20 minute queue though.
I absolutely love packed house. Do you sometimes get into a gear stop? Yeah. But sometimes youâre stomping. And sometimes itâs kind of even and itâs REALLY fun as a healer to do a short burst window were you pop literally everything you have to get a fold. Itâs great. I am having so much fun with it.
Highly recommend Blizzard keeps it permanently.
I mean, the cooking one? Is not fun AT all.
This is an actual good brawl.
Itâs pretty easy - donât play Horde, play Alliance and get 3 minute queue times.
Yes, the BG is forced to have 3 healers each.
If youâre down a heal then that means a person missed the queue, which happens quite often as Tortuyo mentions. I mean, I check healers before every BG Iâm in because the game actively balances that role for both sides and if youâre missing a healer, the most important role in a BG in my opinion, itâs most likely GG before the gates even open.
The whole thing about starting the game without a full team is my #1 problem in battlegrounds. Especially when most battlegrounds are won off the first teamfight.
Itâs not my favourite brawl.
- Acceptance and preparation period follows arena rule set rather than battlegrounds, meaning there is a shorter window for both. I think Iâve had one game this week when both teams started at full numbers. Often itâs 10 or 11 v 15.
I would also feel pretty crappy were I in the random battleground queue for 10-15 minutes to land in this map that is over in 4 or 5 minutes. Itâs just not a good gaming experience to be in queue for longer than games last in my opinion.
100% agree. Not my favorite activity. But itâs better than Ashran and Wintergrasp.
Iâve ran it on both melee and ranged and itâs enjoyable on both. Feels like mop 1200 rating yolo pvp again where everyone runs in and blows every cd on their bars.
Tried this for the first time last night. It was fun and fast paced. Not something I want to do for hours at a time, but this was a nice side activity to break up my usual evening.
I donât wanna put a damper on what people find fun but how is this brawl âfunâ. Itâs an arena so there is no objective but there are too many people for there to be a proper arena strat. So itâs basically just a run into the group and do damage until the other team dies.
This is the closest bg we have to a team deathmatch.
What about Tarren Mill vs Southshore?
Yeah, but it feels more like a ârealâ battle. Thereâs no respawning. Youâre not worried about a flag or a cart or an orb. Itâs a brawl. An actual brawl.
You donât just stand there and pew pew. Itâs a bit more complicated than that. There are quick decisions you need to make throughout the fight.
Positioning is really important. Pushing into the other team might scatter them apart, or maybe you just made a horrible mistake.
If you mind your surroundings, you can throw out snares, roots, CCs, and interrupts to save your teammates or help them secure kills.
You can also try to top the charts. Some players like doing big dam.
You can respawn in SS v TM.
By deathmatch, he means to fight until one side falls.
I hate it mainly because of all the lag now iâm getting in bgs. But then again, Iâm getting those in all bgs.
As fights I generally prefer 6v6 (hope that becomes a thing) and 3v3 anyway.
Thatâs why I donât do it. Bad rewards, long queue. No thanks.
Thatâs what Iâve been doing every time and winning.
I guess I should have included an exception clause for warlocks.
Have you been topping the charts?
Iâm kinda curious what sort of numbers a geared PvPer gets in this brawl.
This is interesting. Yeah, Iâve noticed the horde teams start down a few players. Kinda weird, but maybe people go AFK since the queue is longer.
Hmm, thatâs kinda weird. Youâre not in Australia, are you? My computer is kinda crap, but I donât have too much lag in even eBGs, with the possible exception of IoC hangar fights. Oh, I do feel the major lag in Battle for Nazjatar, thanks to blizz.
