Brann needs a HEAVY change

Now as a ranged class I’m sure something like this may not even apply, or someone who is a tank, but Brann is an absolute agro sponge. Normally this would be fine, but I’ve recently started doing delves on my rogue as apposed to my warlock and I’ve noticed something that just makes Delves unbearable.

As I said, him being an agro sponge is all well and fine but the fact he runs, jumps, doesn’t stop moving makes it excessively frustrating to actually kill anything. He will constantly run out of damage range or quickly run behind you. Just make his AI stand still! I don’t care if he gets knocked down. It’s not immersive. It doesn’t make him feel more alive. It just makes me want to give up doing delves.

Again. My over all point and I can not stress this enough. MAKE HIM STAND STILL!

Have you noticed how he jumps into Zek’vir fear range, just to be feared on purpose?
Or how the monkey he summons keep you in combat even if there is no one else to aggro?
Yup, get used to it because we will have it for the whole expansion.

Biggest change I reckon he needs is to his DPS role.

Completely useless if specced as a DPS since they hotfixed his performance to be more “consistent” months ago. If you’re not running him as healer, you’re better off not running with him at all. Hits like a wet noodle and offers no survivability.

Yeah, while the aggro is usually fine since you’re taking fewer hits, it’s quite frustrating when he’s off tanking mobs on his own when there are mechanics like air totems or something.

Yeah this one is quite annoying. Like, c’mon man, calm your monkey and smoke me some gouda already.

Yeah I recently switched him over to healer on all of my toons. The only good thing left about his DPS spec is that his execute packs a wallop. Otherwise, he doesn’t do much damage and some interrupts at ALL of the wrong times.

I haven’t checked though; does he do better damage when you are specced as tank or healer than if you are in a DPS spec yourself?

Nah. Did some T8 Delves on a 570 disc priest and was out-damaging him.

I don’t recall having this issue as a Rogue. Delves were pretty fun and not frustrating. Spent my first month of TWW exclusively in them.

I noticed the same thing when I started gearing up my DK and feral druid. I think his heals are so large that he generates a lot of aggro. It’s annoying but I can live with it because 1) I hate melee classes anyway and 2) if he wasn’t healing and tanking I’d probably be dead. As they’ve gotten stronger it has been happening less.
