Can Brann get to 60 now or is blizz still being stupid?

They kind of screwed the pooch in regard to Bran. Pre-hotfix Bran at this point would solo raids if they didn’t force a level cap. Post-hotfix Bran though doesn’t have a fraction of the power he used to have, especially DPS, so I’m not sure why they capped it. A level 60 DPS Bran right now would be weaker than a level 30 Bran a week ago. I think Blizzard forced the cap because they’re too worried by buffing him the content will become a cakewalk again with people having 40+ level Brans. If they got annoyed how quickly Bran was being leveled, then I’m not sure how they didn’t expect it when people would be doing bountiful on multiple toons for 616 vault items.

I can’t get him xp from bountiful t8s and my guy is only 16.
That’s supposed to be the only place you can get xp for him and you’re getting none?

Correct. I did 2 after the Tuesday update and got 0 xp for him and no locked chests in either (not sure if thats normal). I’ve also not seen a curio drop since early last week.
I reported the XP issue as bug. It seems I’m not the only one (seen it posted here).

Are your weekly quests reset or are you also bugged with those? Specifically the theater, awaken machine, profession quests
My awakening machine was reset (don’t do the other 2) so I’m guessing its reset (got a key from it as well if I recall).
Okay so it’s a different bug that’s ruining delves in a different way for people.

I don’t get the need to cap him besides maybe balance, but they also just buffed the beejesus out of him too so…

You get exp from 28 bountiful delves a week. Bran wasn’t capped. So if you did all t8 your Bran is higher then someone who did lower bountiful. I guess you could hit 60 this week if you did all t8s. There also seems to be bugs that affect only certain players too
Brann was definitely capped at 38 last week. You’re forgetting the fact that you can do delves on multiple characters, so many, many people had capped out their Branns at 38 early in the week and reported it widely.
Now, he seems to be gaining exp once again after the most recent weekly reset. It’s unclear as of yet if you can now take him all the way to 60 or if there’s another lower weekly cap for this week.
Delves are capped at 28 per week per account. That’s why he stopped getting exp. Many who did lower tier delves had bran at 31 or 34 because they got less total exp from their 28 delves

Sounds like I need to do Tier 11 then. 
I haven’t received any xp or curios for Brann either. Mine is only 18 and he is barely inched up, in the past week. I don’t get this. I am not quite 80 and stuck on t3.

They changed his max lvl to 38.
Skipping all the other questions because I cant answer why they arent getting XP if doing bountifuls lvl 16+
Thank you. Yeah I’m not sure why the other peeps aren’t getting xp either.
To follow up, before Area 52 started crashing left and right I ran another T8 Bountiful delve and Brann was getting XP for kills and I did get a locked chest.
I dunno why the 2 I did Tuesday he did not but perhaps it’s fixed now.
he stops getting xp from normal delves at 15. you need to do bountiful delves to get more xp for him
