it’s unreal how bad the under-water and brann are. 100% worst ncp ever created. YES - swim out there and start a fight with all those sharks. run over there and pull all those mobs. DO EVERYTHING no one would do in any situation would do.

you set him to heal - nope - over there pulling sharks! if blizzard team cannot create under-water that actually works, WHY PUT IT IN THE GAME?!
You set it to healing - nope! over there fighting more mobs and pulling them to you. it’s unreal how bad this thing is.
You may be pleased to find out they are adding an ability to all of his specs in S2 that makes things more uniform. It is an AOE pulsing threat generator within 75 yards of his location in all directions.
Now you will not have to worry about him running away as much as he does not go to find things.
There was a quest during the Cata expansion on the Tol Barad Island. It required you to find and escort a gnome to safety. That quest was so bad, that if I remember correctly, it was removed from the game.
So I beg to differ. Brann, while he may be bad, is not the worst NPC in the game.
