Instead of doing s*&% like Plunderstorm, can we finally get a workable Brann for high level delves?
This whole week its a crap shot if he uses his abilities or not.

I agree he is terrible. In the beginning I was using him as a dps thinking it was the best option, however today he was useless barley doing damage always running away with me, dying constantly etc. I switched to healing and that was the only reason I was able to finish the final boss.
Just coming back to the game I am not 100% what the best role for him is but going by what i experienced today he is a useless dps may was well go healing
Every time there’s something I need to click he walks on top of it.
Yup, Brann is total Sh*# !
In a 24 hour cycle where Brann was working perfectly yesterday, today 24 hours later the dev team stripped Brann of all his positive qualities. Brann is unusable as a healer now. He just stands there until he reaches 1% and does nothing the entire combat rounds. In 20 years of playing this game Dev Team 1 knew exactly how to keep their code running smoothly. After Blizzard disrupted that group, all I have seen are childish sets of code implementations.
I want to print out a single piece of paper for each one of your sh*# drops and box each one of these pieces of paper in a single UPS package then mail out over 1,000 boxes to Blizzard in appreciation of the garbage you leave the community with. You can have the mess you create for yourselves back.
My favorite part is how he’s constantly yelling about not standing in mechanics, while he will spend an entire fight just standing in fire.
And to add insult to injury, he will tell you to try some harder hitting abilities if you die (mostly due to him standing in crap and being dead for half the fight).
Between Brann’s general ineptitude, his extremely frustrating and non-helpful commentary (seemingly designed for the sole purpose of pissing us off at the absolute worst possible moment), and gobbo boss taking a page out of Zek’vir’s book and only showing up when you’re already fighting 3 dudes in a section of the delve that is the smallest it can possibly be to physically not allow room to deal with his mechanics on top of mechanics of the other 3 guys he decided to reinforce…
Yeah Delves are really losing their appeal to me pretty quick this season.
Been solo with Brann tank, he’s fine at it. His main issue (as melee) is he really likes to tank in fire, especially noticeable on the Goblin boss.
It could be fixed pretty easily if we got a pet bar for him to be able to yell at HIM for standing in the fire and get him to move to our position. Right now the only option, if the area allows it, is to move far away and force Brann to teleport to you and move that way.
Brann tank
I tried healing and him as tank and he actually owns. Its crazy
Yeah, love on as a melee Brann just sits in boss AOEs that make it impossible to DPS.
I suspect he’s a lot less valuable as a tank if you’re not a healer. I recall seeing his best threat and damage abilities are tied to receiving healing.
The content notes from the devs talking about Brann’s tanking option do specifically call out making life better for healers. So, probably, non-healers need not apply.
Most definitely. But even as healer or DPS, his AI still insists on standing in the bad constantly (the whole time yelling at us to “Don’t stand there!!” and “You’ve got to move!!” ).
It’s just more noticeable with him in tank spec than the other 2.
And with 11’s being part of regular weekly rotation now for Gilded crests that becomes a big problem. Pretty much every pull with mobs that have AOEs or fire on the ground mechanics involves him “dying” a few times before I can clear the single pack. I haven’t even tried it on anything other than my warlock or hunter yet because you don’t have to be an oracle to foresee multiple deaths due to just simply taking melee white hits from the larger hard hitting individual NPCs and not having the self-sustain to handle it on some classes/specs (rogues come immediately to mind) while waiting for Brann to regain consciousness due to him having stood in fire for half the fight.
