Title says it all. Brann will run up to a resource, herb/mining/fishing node, the emote will go out that he is gathering the resource, but the player then receives nothing. Not sure if this is intended or not, perhaps an incentive to have a group, although that would be silly, as Delves were stated to be an avenue for solo players

Was about to make a topic, but saw this in the feed. This is happening to me too. Submitted an in-game bug report, but as someone who likes the Olden Seeker Relic, this annoys me…

Yep, this is also happening for me. Seemed to start after yesterday’s hotfix.

Sigh, this happened in both our bountiful 8 delves last night. There were three of us in the party with Brann, but even though those of us who had harvesting/mining, got to the nodes, Brann just fiddled around, sometimes yelling about the resource, he did not do anything and of course we never got anything from him either.
So it appears it doesn’t seem to matter if solo or with a party, Brann is not doing his job.

You find a herb or mining node, and Brann runs over to them.
Chat windows states:
Brann Bronzebeard begins mining.
Brann Bronzebeard begins herb gathering.
BUT nothing happens. He runs back and you get nothing.
Also happens with skinning and fishing as well:
Brann Bronzebeard begins fishing.
Brann Bronzebeard begins skinning.
And yet, still you get nothing. And you can’t move away (even to other side of delve) and return and get him to do anything with it.

Was going on all night. We did a Bountiful 9, 10, and 11 in a guild group. Brann gave nothing to any of us. They must have broken something with the hotfix.

yep, same issue here, i think whatever they did with the profane tinderbox exploit fix was simply “lets turn gathering off for brann.”

I’ll just reiterate that as someone who normally prefers the Olden Seeker Relic, this is affected as well. No gather means no boons. This includes dirt patches that only Brann would normally be able to access, even without said relic.
Aggrivating.

Same issue here. He gathered a few things so it’s not completely broken but most of the time he didn’t gather anything even after chat message says he is.

Not working as a group either. Brann will go over to said item, emote, items do not appear in our bags. It’s broken on dirt patches and herbs, mining nodes, etc.

Yup… definitely seem to be their “fix” for the exploit…

I was having this happen fairly regularly before the hotfix but now its every run.

It has been happening to me for weeks, mostly with Fishing pools, or if he enters combat half way through his action.

Feels like he gathers only 1/4 nodes now. No enemy mobs around, and I stand perfectly still next to the node. Sometimes he gets the yellow lines above his head, emotes, but doesn’t move. Sometimes he begins the gathering animation but it cancels before finishing.
Olden Seeker Relic is unusable until this is fixed.

In my experience its probably less than 10%, so if you’re getting 1/4, you’re special! I had him harvest his first node in days just now.
But, he also doesnt dig up any other specials… Loose dirt, where the buffs are supposed to be? Same thing as other nodes… He runs up, the emote displays, he digs for a bit, and then nothing.
If only they company was big enough to afford even a tiny bit of QA to test their “fixes”, I think it would go a long way.

Yeah, i have 4/4 for this ability and I’m getting basically no resources on my runs now, lots of running over and pretending to gather though🤦‍♀️
