I just picked up…the TLPD!!! Edit: Went transmog hunting and picked up the Grand Black War Mammoth as well. Today’s been a good day for mounts.

I got the TLPD on my first kill.
I wasn’t even farming it, just popped up while I was flying to Ulduar.
Technically everyone gets it on their first kill lol

Gratz! I always check for that every time I’m passing through the Storm Peaks. Just on the off chance I can be one of those people who gets it with no effort involved.

Last time I saw him I was on a flightpath. 
Grats. It is no small feat. I remember lucking into mine in early Cata. I was there with someone and we were flying around when my rare addon went off. I was able to target him briefly before he went back out of view. A few seconds later he reappeared coming back around the mountain at Bor’s Breath. I went for it and nearly missed it, narrowly beating a gnome mage for the tag. Fun times. At least they were a good sport about it. lol They either cheered at or congratulated me. Not sure which it was.

Don’t feel too bad. When you enter a zone in a flight path it’s a completely different instanced version of the zone with nobody in it, and it gets phased as soon as you land somewhere. So nobody else got it either.

Basically that single instanced version that you flew through, whenever the last server restart was, that’s what rare spawned next…and it’s just been there flying around for who knows how long. Once upon a time there were people who said you could force your way into one of these empty zones but I feel like a lot of people would’ve gotten a lot more rare stuff if that were the case.

I have had mine for a while. But I did get the Ragnaros mount within the last week, which gave me the fuel I needed to get 5 more mounts in a few days to finally reach 300 and get that extremely pretty heavenly azure panda dragon. So yay for everyone!
