With 8.2 class changes not doing much for IF builds, its kinda getting a non-buff while other classes get a buff meaning it may go down in the rankings to.some degree.

Thats my thoughts anyway, no nerfs needed

They should focus on designing raid mechanics that don’t completely omit melee.

Blizz should let Shamans keep their highly desired spot in raid. They never get this opportunity.

8.2 is nowhere close to final, still lots of tuning to come. I doubt the meta will shift too drastically.

The blood of the enemy essence looks incredible strong for Elemental.

Super strong for any class that stacks crit and has a DoT. Which Ele has both of. May be better for Affliction or Spriest though.

Agreed. I’m loving being a top tier dps for once this decade, but it’s very worrying that literally the one leg we’re standing on is the incredibly powerful Igneous Potential trait. One nerf to this and we’re back in the dumpster.

Nah, Elemental was doing fine before Igneous Potential got buff. It would mean go back to the boring Storm Elemental build.

I did a little simming today. I do have 3 IP traits but if I was to shift things around I would have the following.

This is my current sim: 27,745. I use AS not TM. needed a variable to do the sim.
