Actually, imo, the missing floor actually feels bad. There is less room to finish bonus objectives and even just have fun with your build and/or get last powers to make blowing up the boss easier.
I want more reasons to run the placeâŚnot less and/or to make it takes less time.
I just gave Torghast a try again today after leaving it alone for a few months⌠The most annoying thing ever⌠I guess itâs the new Torment system? Every 20 seconds or so I end up getting chained up and have to break through them. Took literally an hour and a half to complete, and this was only layer 7 or 8 I think. Iâm a caster. ranged DPS. I stand somewhere and pull mobs. thatâs what I do⌠Thatâs what Iâve always done. Why would I want to be hopping around every 20 seconds for an hour, just to avoid some shackles that slow me down ? Seems like wow used to have fights that required awareness of how the actual game works⌠Now itâs just hop around and avoid colors on the floor rather than stuff that requires actual brain cells and improvisation, like managing aggro and crowd control. Or maybe itâs just me, and I actually have fewer brain cells than 10 years ago. I dunno.
What I like is getting 5 gems, and unlocking the bonus room, and get absolutely nothing from the boss everytime.

There will be no âboycottâ per se, just disappointed people who cut back on their playing, stop doing current content, or leave the game entirely. The majority never come to the forum and donât see what is being discussed here. They make up their own minds based on their in-game experiences.

Itâs not my fault you donât want to complete any of the secondary objectives to improve your score. Obviously there is more to the run than speeding to the boss to smash it in the timeframe. Objectively you need to improve yourself. Thatâs the way the designed it whether you like it or not.
Itâs pretty common among many games to provide secondary goals to improve scores and to unlock further gameplay.
If you donât like it, donât do it. I mean, they finally added transmogs and stuff that can purchased, and they have way to make it easier, like Horrific Visions, and because it wonât change the game critically, if you canât find people to run it with, you can basically ignore it until youâre better geared. Because 9 to 10 and higher really does get tougher.
Getting 230+ score every run, iâm fine with torghast
