Boycott AV in protest of the Horrid state of the meta

Your pugs dont really win though either. The map wins for you.
I’ll be in AV games where we have 150hks to hordes 50 and we’ll finally make a push onto IBGY only to lose it to 20 ressers spawning at the cave.

Alliance have to kill roughly 4x as many horde to take IBGY compared to SHGY.

Couldn’t be that those premade Alliance players are playing WSG and AB exclusively now, could it?

They do this for fast wins, which AV doesn’t provide them.

I have over a 50% win rate pugging (this includes fighting against premades) in AB.
Weird how i have a 1% chance to win while pugging AV though right? Almost as if some sort of map imbalance might be involved.

Or it could also be that your pug matches in AB have less players afking and that they are all level 60.

AV for horde is a part of experienced pvpers ranking process. Alliance stick to AB and WSG because they can secure fast wins.

I’d send you a video of Horde in AV but I don’t think we need to see it. Multiple sub level 60 horde players, horde hiding in buildings near SH and sitting in the back AFK.

Both sides have leaches, Alliance might have more but to pretend that your side is 100% 60’s and no leaches isn’t helping your argument.

I’ve been watching my fellow guildies pug, and they seem to be doing just fine.

Sure, both sides have that. The difference being that Horde also have high rankers that make impact and you do not.

Alliance definitely have more, it’s purely what they consist of.

Yes alliance avoid AV because of the map imbalance issues.

You really don’t though. On average the total rank disparity is within a range of 1.

I can guarantee that those ranking on Alliance aren’t queuing AV. It’s a net loss for honor per hour.

Horde rankers are not in AV either. They would also be in AB and WSG.

Not really, they chase quick wins which AV doesn’t provide them. You don’t join premades in WSG and AB, you wouldn’t understand this.

Horde rankers don’t queue AV either. Why risk getting stuck at stormpike for an hour for 5k honor?

Nevermind the 2 hour wait time in between matches or more.

One of the best ways to progress as Horde is to create a 5 man group and cycle between all 3 battlegrounds because of large queue times.

Hour long AV matches are quite rare. If Alliance fought back more, there would be a shift and what you are saying would be more correct.

Pack it up guys, horde logic is too strong here. Clearly alliance loses 99% of AV games because literally every single game consists of the same afk’ers and honor leechers on our side while horde players are all massively talented level 60 honor rankers.

Maybe if you can’t get a full 10 man group to play WSG or AB. WSG/AB are 10 fold better HPH. The only reason to be in AV as horde is if you’re casual or you want to afk while your ab/wsg team isn’t grinding.

Sure but Horde have an alternative option to still rank as a solo queuer. Obviously you wouldn’t cut out full 10 premades entirely.

You wouldn’t afk in AV as a ranker, there’s a large amount of honor that can be obtained if you cut away from the main group.

One of the best strats is to head straight north and farm the afk in your cave and net the honor all to yourself.

You wouldn’t hit any of those top ranks as a solo schlub.

You’re still better off queueing wsg/ab as Horde even if you solo queue. You don’t rank in AV unless your end goal is 10 it’s drastically worse hph.
