Nobody wants retail to fail. We want it to change back to its roots which made it a fun game to begin with. If classic is more popular than live you should be happy too, since its the same game and its bringing more attention. 1.2 million views on twitch yesterday never saw that before for any game
Yeah, that number was halved within an hour or 2 though because 9/10 streams were log-in screens.
They won’t have wasted their time though. Just leveling 1-60 is way more fun and fulfilling than anything BfA has to offer.
I dont think classic will kill retail. Bfa has its issues but the game is much more playable for more people now and hardcore mmos die quickly these days. Blizzs devotion to simpler gameplay is whats keeping alot of people playing. Wow goes hardcore neckbeards only again that will be when you want to start picking out tombstones…well that or activision people get their grummy cod hands on development.

Honestly though, the vast majority aren’t hitting 60 in a week. Shame on me for not considering the abuse of the layering system though, where there’s a will there’s a way
