The fact that you expect these anti-boxers to understand anything even with a video breaking it down is giving them too much credit. It’s whiners like them that ruined the pre-patch event.

Anyone of average intelligence see’s this. Only ones who don’t are those who are benefiting from multiboxing and those who are not very logical thinkers. They try to hide behind technicalities like multiboxing isn’t “botting”, not realizing that no one cares about the technicalities because they don’t matter.

I don’t get why this is the hill people choose to die on so often that it’s become a daily thing. There’s so much more wrong with the game than the very small number of people that choose to multi-box. I’ve been playing since May 2005 and I could probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve even seen a multi-boxer in the wild…I don’t MB. Never have and probably never will. But they definitely don’t affect me to the point where I feel the need to whine on the forums.

You were talking about me. I asked a question, it wasn’t answered. Said I would be more then happy to debate it. He said you can’t win at wow. Clearly that is wrong as there are plenty of things you can win in wow.

Well, you’re an 11 alt and I’m a fully geared druid.

You don’t get 475 from M+. You get it from the chest.

That came out afterwards. That was the entire issue. It wasn’t until they lost sponsorship that it even became known. People were tolerating the problem because of everything else.

Again, that’s your opinion. You can clearly win at a bunch of stuff in this game. Method was looking to WIN the world first race. That is how they made their money.

Just because you have a narrow perception of what winning is, doesn’t mean you’re right. There is a lot of things you can win at in wow.

Can you get the contents of that chest if you don’t do M+? I don’t do M+ so it’s a genuine question. But I’m pretty sure you can’t.

Correct. You only get the chest if you do M+. The chest though pulls from the entire loot table in M+. The chances of getting a piece that is actually BIS are pretty low. I have been doing +15s since the first week and was able to get 3 pieces I’d consider close to BIS.

But, compare that to some of the top groups. There are tanks paying for mythic runs and getting funneled gear to get extra leech. Same goes for avoidance gear. Those items are very difficult to get with just normal RNG. So players pay for runs to increase their chances.

Sure, there is a difference though. The place you’re actually getting the gear from is chest. There is gear you can get from M+ and get your get from the chest. There is a distinction, that’s all.

I never said you couldn’t win in Wow. You clearly can. Win a duel or a mythic race or a pet battle.

My points were about P2W.
Not about winning anything in game.

We all play the game for very different reasons. There are players who pay an absurd amount of gold/money for the best pets in the game.

There are also players who only do bgs. While twinking isn’t as much of a thing, that’s what they enjoy. Winning bgs is what they enjoy.

It’s not for you or me to decide what a player considers a win.
