Bows, crossbows, and guns should be classified as melee weapons,

If held by a character that can’t aim, like a warrior. In which case: Bows are glaives, guns and crossbows are maces.

Why?

Idk I guess I just want a paladin with a gun.
That doesn’t know how to use the gun.
So they just whack people with it.

Followed by of course classes that know how to aim, like warlocks, gettin to use ranged weapons as a spell focus.

Oh not bored thankfully. One of my friends just died and I have no way to cope so I’m just manic-posting until I eventually explode or something :3

The key is to spit on the ground and spin 3 times, THEN hit them over the head. Trust me.

i mean, it might. no bullets/arrows/bolts tearing through the body to sever/ruin the sinew. Same could be said for other innards parts (like goretusk livers).

Don’t know that I would want to get up close enough to a tallstrider to try and bonk it though.

I bet they would be pretty vicious with their beaks and legs much in the same way emus, ostriches and cassowaries are

Last time someone tried to use a Crossbow as a melee weapon, he was complaining about how it has not enough heft.

Nah… but bows, crossbows, and guns should be able to show cosmetic enchants for transmog.

Hunters should get guns that fire dogs that shoot bees out of their mouths.

Made me think of Jackson’s Two Towers adaptation where all the elves ran forward and tried to use their bows as melee weapons and all died.

(Or Toran vs. Gar at the end of “Archer: Fugitive from the Empire”, but that’s probably too old for most of you.)
