I just went and tried the 10.1 PTR and it looks like Bow of the Dragon Hunters is now a normal 3.00 attack speed bow with normal damage range.
Was there a post about this? I tried looking for it but couldn’t find it.
Its still 2.6 on 10.07 PTR but im not surpised they would change it to 3.0 on 10.1 ptr.
It made it a quite a bit better than the 3.0 engineering gun so they had to normalize it.
Why am I not shocked Blizz nerfed it, seems pretty normal for them to do this kind of thing. Better get ready for Blizz to have another OP bow that will be a rare drop and account for 10+% of our DPS.
Not surprising. On the 10.0.7 PTR, the faster crafted bow was on par with the same item level Neltharax with new effect. I did a bit of parsing between the two and found them nearly identical. That’s weird, because you get a free embellishment with Neltharax, but the crafted bow counts against the (2) limit.
Also, just noticed that the crafted bow on the 10.1 PTR is item level 421, instead of 418.
Yeah seems all crafted gear got bumped to 421 on my character
