I am ready to give up. There is no special treasure for me after completing a Bountiful Delve. I have been advised to do quests, I have done them all. But I must be missing something. Apparently, I am stuck on Tier 3, and I have to get to Tier 4? Not sure, Wowhead is rather vague about it. Is there something somewhere that says do X,Y,Z and you will get the special treasure at the end of a delve?
You get Restored Coffer Keys from doing weekly events (word bosses, weekly zone event/quests like the Theater Troupe in Dorn, or Awakening the Machine in the Ringing Deeps). You can get 4 Restored Coffer Keys a week from these weekly quests/chores. You need the key to open the treasure (to maybe even see the treasure) at the end. If you make it to the end with 0 lives left, I think you can’t see/loot either. Hope this helps. The season resets next week so you’re better off just waiting until next week before delving too far.

I did it for the 1,250 rep for new faction then stopped until reset next week then doing it again after all the Dailies/Weekly quests for the rep
Tier 4 and up is where you want to be. Tier 1-3 are just tutorials with little benefit. If you have done a single delve of a tier, you can move to the next tier in all of them. Tier 8 is really the sweet spot for gear rewards.

You need a “Restored Coffer Key” to open the special chest at the end. You also need to not expire all your lives before you reach the end.
Higher level delves gives better rewards and this is changing new week to offer even better rewards above +8.
You get “Restored Coffer Keys” from doing weekly quests in the current expansion and some WQ’s offer key shards as a reward also. 100 shards makes a key.
you get 4 Bountiful delves per day and once you complete them there reset to regular delves
You need a Restored Coffer key in order to open (and even see) a Bountiful Delve Chest at the end of a Delve run.
I think you can still see it but just cant open it. I might be wrong
I have 3 restored coffer keys, I can’t see the special treasure chest at the end, just the regular two chests. I have done the Theater quest a couple of times. I might of done the Awakening the Machine, not sure.
I think delves have moved over to season 2, so I’m unsure if those current Restored Coffer Keys will work in season 2 delves. Blizzard may have also turned off looting until the season officially starts next week and gear paths become available. We’re in a weird 1 week lull of next to no content besides doing the Undermines quests. Dungeons and the raid are still open from season 1 so people can finish achievements like keystone master/hero and AotC. But delves are likely closed up shop until next weeks reset.
Also, a word to the wise, Coffer Keys (or whatever equivalent that will be used next week in season 2) are a finite amount. It is better to save them to use in delves +8 or higher as this will reward you the maximum gear upgrade track. More bang for your buck you might say. I’d save them and just push your delves up to at least 8 starting next week.
I appreciate the time people have taken to respond to me, I really do. But so far nobody has said what I specifically have to do. It is frustrating, to say the least. What I need is someone to say, “do X, Y, and Z” and you will get the special treasure at the end of the Delve.
So delves in general: you unlock the next level difficulty after finishing the previous.
So in order to unlock 4, you need to finish 3. To unlock 5 finish 4, etc…
As for bountiful Delves you need to have a restored coffer key to unlock the goodie box. You get those by doing various weeklies and dailies throughout dornugal.
Honestly I wouldn’t worry too much about it until season 2 starts this Tuesday. It’s all going to get reset for the new season.
It’s not that simple but I’ll try my best.
1.) go to the spider zone and do the weekly quest. This should get you a restored coffer key.
2.) find a delve that glows on the minimap. Normally it just looks like a dungeon door, look for ones that are glowing.
3.) complete it at your desired level
4.) a 3rd chest will spawn after the boss, use the key to open it.

They are dropping Season 2 crests currently.
I don’t think you can until next week. Assuming that the current Restored Coffer Keys are only good for season 1, or they might reset idk, you’ll have to go out and do weekly events/quest in each zone.
- Theater Troupe - Isle of Dorn
- Awakening the Machine - Ringing Deeps
- Spreading the Light - Hallowfall
- The weekly rep quest (I forget the name) - Azj-Kahet
- World boss
- Special assignment World Quests (these rotate, not always in the same zone(s) but you have to do 3 world quests in the area before they unlock so you can do them, the icon will look like a world quest with a lock on it until you do the 3 prerequisite world quests in the zone
You get 4 keys a week. I just don’t think you can do any delves with loot until next week when season 2 officially starts.
This week still uses season 1 keys, because we can still get season 1 achievements.
I honestly don’t know what’s going on. You might want to try the Customer Support forum again. I know this has been an ongoing issue for you. And you might need to put in a ticket for this. It sounds like the system isn’t registering something for you.
He CAN get Bountiful chests with season 1 gear in them.
Well, if he isn’t seeing the loot chests then he’s either not doing the delves marked Bountiful on the map, or he’s made it to the end with 0 lives left.
He is doing Bountifuls. He does have lives left.

Undermined Crests that are Weathered and Carved are live now. I’ve got a bunch of both.
