I bought vendor gear for the very first time since i was a “noob” and first started playing WoW. Hardcore definitely changes how you play the game. I’m stacking that Armor rating just to see if it makes a difference.
it does those few %s of physical damage reduction on each hit add up
The best part is once you outgrow it you can sell it on the AH for a tidy profit.
That’s funny and sad.
The vendor bows are amazingly overtuned for common items. Feels like equipping low level blues.
Buying vendor weapons early on is actually meta for speed leveling
i sent my alt some gold of course , parked the alt in GS and waited an hour until it arrived and bought the set of vendor gear in Northshire for 80 copper a piece at level 1, vastly superior gear over the crap you get until level 10 almost, you might get one or 2 lucky drops before then, it is all double or triple the armor value, just trying something different with one of my many alts.
That’s my biggest problem right now. I’m new to Classic HC and have like 3 silver to my name. All my money is going toward professions, and spells. I’m currently trying to save up to buy the next set of vendor gear.
Multiple toons and grinding mobs is the answer.
that gear is only good for the first 10 levels , not worth worrying about, do not waste silver or gold on them, and with professions be careful with those, not many pay off early and dying with all that extra effort put into them makes death sting a lot worse, imo gathering/mining is the way to go , vendor the lowbie stuff and then start putting the higher map herbs/minerals in the ah.
