Bought a computer from ibuypower

It’s a AMD Gladiator EZB101 X 1. It keeps turning off randomly and when I reboot it it gives me green lines on the screen, kinda looking like the matrix. Anyone know what is causing it. I tried calling and emailing ibuypower but no one answers.

Difficult to diagnose without more info, but sounds like it’s either overheating or the graphics card is a dud. Does its case have much in the way of ventilation or is it all solid glass/steel/plastic?

You need to RMA your graphics card. Go to Ibuypower Reddit page and you will see all the complaints about the GPU’s being bad.

Dang, no one even answers the phone been trying to call them for days now.

It’s more cost effective to hire incompetent warranty/customer support. Most people stop calling/reaching out after a few tries.

I’d raise hell on reddit/Amazon to get their attention.

Keep hitting redial over and over and over. Took me 54 tries till I got thru.

I would try reinstalling the video drivers and if that failed look for bios update for the motherboard.

Could also try the SFC scan tool to check Windows files.

That’s a pretty decent motherboard so as others have said try uninstalling and reinstalling your graphics card drivers. A bad graphics card driver can cause a lot of issues. The early ones were pretty buggy so also make sure yours is up to date before you uninstall and reinstall the drivers

Also look for a bios update for your motherboard and just know what you were doing before you attempt to bios update

There are many YouTube videos on it. Especially for your motherboard

Is there a reason you don’t call Nvidia? iBuy is just a vendor… they will just RMA the device and send you a new one which as we all know could take months…

Diagnose with Nvidia they make the video card… or as an alternative call MSI they have good customer support. I don’t think it’s a video card this seems like some mother board setting that isn’t correct. If you can do a reset to default in motherboard and just accept defaults. Get the board to boot to your hard drive.

I don’t have MSI but I do have ASUS same exact chipset and video card as you, also bought from iBuy in feburary it’s been perfect.

Could also be something really simple like the video cable connection make SURE it’s snug… not loose and pushed all the way perhaps swap cables if you have another… are you using display port or HDMI, DP is better just FYI.
