Blizzard – Pet Battle Botting in Nazjatar is out of control on Voltgorger.
Saw 30+ toons appearing and vanishing so fast that I couldn’t click on them.

Yep I seen them down there …tried to report them but they faded out too fast to catch it to report…
I put this in the support forum and got a response from another player:
Oky, one thing, we do not call out players on the forums you might want to remove the names.
Blizzard doesn’t accept reports made over the forums, what you need to do is right click and report for cheating, or send and email to hacks@blizzard.com
I emailed them about it. It was really weird.
What’s the point of botting pet battles? Was it some really good reward WQ day?

A little confused here, are you saying toons suddenly pop up out of nowhere and immediately start a pet battle? If that’s the case, doesn’t sound like a bot, more like someone multi boxing. Wondering if you’d waited around to see if they reappear briefly after completing the battle.
Don’t know what they were doing. They were phasing in and out rapidly, I don’t think they were actually engaging in the pet battle. Some had Spring Rabbit pets though so those were doing their breeding mechanic which was filling the cave with rabbits, which was humorous.
I was there for probably 10 minutes watching them because I was trying to work out how to report the activity in the meantime. Just kept phasing in and out.
Mostly multiboxers have multiple accounts sharing a license. You can only have one character at a time on one license having access to pet battling, and can only swap by logging out the character pet-battling and then logging in with another, which is 40 seconds of waiting around.
Sounds too impractical to be likely. More likely someone botting on a bunch of independent characters. Perhaps it gives their characters XP? If not, I cant see what they’d be getting out of it. BfA pet battles do not give significant pet XP.
