Botting Services for Sale

Since the tokens design is to help fight bots, cheating, fraud, and what not, would Blizzard offering bot like software help reduce players cheating? If instead someone could pay blizzard for an honor farming program, wouldn’t that be more safe than a 3rd party?

Since cheating is an arms race you can’t win, apparently.

How about instead of wow sponsored botting program to farm honor, they add a goblin vendor in each battleground that opens a cash shop where you can buy perks for the match.

Suggestions:

  • Buy five elites with stealth and invisibility detection to guard the flag.
  • Increase the opponent graveyard rez timer by 30 seconds
  • Flying mount permits
  • Mount harness that can carry a flag (imagine buying both flying and a mount harness)

Every dollar spent in the game gives the buyer a 20% boost to honor earned throughout the game, and everyone else 10% boost. If someone spending money boosts everyone’s honor, then there will be social pressure to spend money (see Diablo Immortal and clans that dont invite f2p players)

That would work just as well and have better monetization opportunities for Blizzard.

Yes, it would.
