Is there a place to report BOTS on forums ? I reported in game twice over a week ago , and the dude is still running same paths and has not even leveled. He is lvl 36 in a 25 zone.
Not leveling up is not a reportable offense.
Did I say that?
Maybe hes a rly bad player who doenst know how to lvl.
If they are in their 30s are they maybe grinding for mount cash?
Did you try to speak with them? Not saying you are definitely wrong about it but there could be another explanation.

Yes Jeditonjanen, they are this obtuse.
Just skip the forum of circus animals and go straight to where you will be heard.
hacks@blizzard.com. Let Blizz figure out whats happening. ![]()
Avoid the forums for anything “serious”, here its just endless birch sessions going nowhere.
Good luck.
you inv him to grp and he lets it time out like a bot would… you msg him … no response… its a bot I think
Maybe they just have zero desire to interact with you.
Nope, Blizzard doesn’t accept bot reports made over the forums.
Not indicative of botting. Some people are completionists and have to do ALL the tasks in one zone, not matter how much they out-level it. Or they could be farming mats. I tend to run the same path all the time when farming a zone for leather or meats. Plus I never respond to unsolicited whispers.
I mean if someone from the other faction is stupid enough to continue their programmed path when you attack them without reacting… They’re probably a bot.
Nothing is worst than a none looting bot…
I let random invites time out and don’t respond to random whispers either…
Not saying it’s not a bot but that doesn’t cut it as bot check criteria…
Not saying it’s not a bot, but I have a lvl 35 bank alt parked in wetlands to grind whelps. Only leveled to 35 so I can max out professions.
I’ve personally seen multiple bots (usually hunters for some reason) that run around in robotic patterns that just kill and skin and kill and skin in the barrens over and over again. I actually met my first one by accident since I saw a lowbie leveling, I thought about giving him some food and water because I was on my mage and he would run away or keep attacking mobs while I was in a trade window with him. I told him to take it but he wouldn’t. His movement was super clunky and his pets name had some Chinese letters I couldn’t read. Botting is a pretty big issue and I even watched a video recently discussing how bad it is sometimes. I suggest other people to watch it so they can identify bots and report them.
Bots are reported in-game using the RCR “Cheating” option and describe what you’ve provided above.
Blizzard investigates the report but typically will not take immediate actions unless the offense is extremely severe and impactful. Rather, they usually flag the account and it will get banned in the next wave if they find it credible that it is in-fact a bot. They also use information gleaned from the investigation to improve the Warden security client - which is partially why they don’t ban immediately, without also addressing the detection piece then the person creates a new account and it was futile to ban them.
I’ve seen fishing bots and reported them. Level 11 mages in greys and whites under the bridge near the FP at Menethill. They sit there all day and night and fish - you can get Oily Blackmouth and Firefin Snapper w/o pools there.
I will log off log back on the next day and they are still there fishing away…
I was once reported as a bot. A player ran by, stopped, watched me for a minute, and ran off. The player didn’t try to interact with me on any chat channel. I would have replied. The player simply reported me.
I think I was monopolizing all the goats. The player came there to kill goats, found I had killed them all, and reported me.
I know he reported me because 10 minutes later a GM came online to talk with me. The GM quickly figured out that I was a real player and not a bot. The GM was polite, and nice about it. But it’s the first time in 15 years that a GM has chatted with me, just to chat.
I’m only mentioning this because A LOT of bot-reports are wrong. There are hundreds of things that bots do AND real players do too.
Especially farming. Real players farm. I often see farming mentioned in forums, in guides, in youtube “how-to” videos, etcf.
Bot’s are a serious problem but on these forums people just argue for the sake of arguing. You could tell them water is good for you and they would argue for 400 pages that it’s not and your probably bad for liking water and everyone dying of dirty water is your fault somehow.
I bet this guy is still botting
