For months now I’ve noticed lots of botting players running Botanica. I know they’re bots because they all move the same way and they don’t respond when talked to. They seem to be mostly druids and demon hunters. There are a lot of them, all from different servers, and they all have that jerky rigid movement pattern characteristic of bots.

I multibox Druids and don’t respond to whispers from people I don’t know. That part means nothing.

When I multibox I never respond to players when they accuse me of botting. I even start running into dumb stuff like trees and get stuck. If they are still watching me a few mins later I’ll usually beg them not to report me. It’s hilarious.
They do suspend in waves, I’m not sure what you’re getting at.

Just so you all know, I’ve stopped playing wow due to how much this expansion sucks and have been playing Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate 2 the enhanced edition. Imoen was the first to get mage level 9 spells and summoning that Planetar is just so epic and fun…
It was one of the games I used to play before wow.
Anyway let us dual class in wow please…that would make things more interesting.
Only bad bots catch attention.
I once saw a bunch of toons repeatedly aoeing at Huolon on timeless isle for hours. Even after they killed him they continued their aoe rotation and didn’t even bother to loot him. WTF?
Botanicas running Botanica?
If you really wanna know if someone is a bot, invite them to group.
Bot software should ignore the invite and just let it stay on the screen, a player will accept or decline it.
If that’s your defense against the massive botting problem at Botanica, then you need to go there and witness the never-ending horde of bots flying in and out of it in the exact same pattern, all day, every day.
Not t always I’ve ignored group and dual requests.

In vanilla I had a warrior with a Chinese sounding name and I had someone whisper me “respond to me or I will report you as a gold farmer”.

I dont respond to 99% of the jokers who attempt to talk to me.
and half the time I dont see their whisper till half an hour later.
That DOESNT even remotely indicate that theyre botting because theyre not interested in talking to you.
Its ALWAYS the same small group, mostly using alts to post.
I guess I’m a bot then.
