Is there any feasible way to report these bots? Its insane to me how rampant it is. You have BRD rogue bots exploiting pickpocketing, Dire Maul bots (like ZG bots) flying to the last boss and killing him and Stratholme bots.
I like how the game masters direct us to report the bots when that is in fact impossible when they are hiding in instances all day.
edit: upon writing I’ve killed 8 bots at the entrance to Dire Maul going back and fourth in about a 5 minute spam. Thanks for the HKs at least.
They’re teleport hacking onto lotus as well.
Blizzard does nothing, I believe they are actually associated with the bots somehow and have no intention of removing them.
Everything they tell us about banning bots is a sugar coated lie.

Wow - how is that even possible. Sure through legal means…
Skeram Bots
Hard to deny that pathing repetition
Oh some of tbe bots are so blatant its nuts. You kill them, they run back to an assigned spot to res, then start their routine again.
Exact same path pixel for pixel each time. You can sometimes break them by mind controlling them into places they can’t get out of correctly. Just an FYI for any priests out there.

I killed 3 rogues and a hunter in azshara that were farming the evel 50ish blue dragons. They fought me back exactly how an NPC would. Came back and rezzed and sat down and ate right next to me and went back to killing dragons until i killed them again.
You can message bots inside of instances and right-click their name in your chat to report them.
I report 10-20 bots a day most days. The open world is easily 90% bots on our server and I’d wager most are similar. With the current boosting meta and few new players, almost no one quests and dungeon runs are almost impossible to find. Hunters, mages, and now rogues. Identical models. Identical pets. Obvious bot mechanics and pathing. Nonsense names and no guild.
I started added them to my friends list to keep track of them, with a player note indicating when I first reported them. Most disappear within a week, even without me getting the in game mail. But a few manage to get ignored and keep going. A rogue leveled from the mid-40s when I first saw him to 60 in less than a week of 24/7 botting then lived in BRD (pickpocketing, I assume) 24/7 for about another week before going dark.
The game is longer a game for the average player - it is bots, PVP rankers, and raiders. The community and social interactions of a year ago are completely gone. And Activision is happy to milk it as long as they can with the absolutely minimum of attention.
Add Mara to that list, always lots of very obvious bot mages there.

We have some really super fun teleport bots on Grobbulus.
There is a rogue that teleports into player models when they try to pick herbs and attempts to steal them in EPL stealths and teleports to different zones immediately after. He has been reported probably 40+ times and video has been e-mailed to blizzard of it but hes still around over a month later.
Its amazing to watch it teleport into your character model from being in no zone on /who then teleport away immediately after back into no zone within seconds.
I love the bots, I get cheap consumes because of em so personally idc
Plaguebloom on my server is nearing 100g a stack.
Because the bots are literally running a cartel market on prices from stuff they get hacking.
Its an actual sinister cabal.
I don’t love bots crashing the markets on usual farmable items (orbs, arcane crystals, etc) which just drives players to buy gold.
