Bots in the Azure Span now?

First time I’ve ever really seen bots in action… and this really bothers me. I keep seeing trains of bots flying around the Upper Frostlands, all on uncustomized red proto-drakes. They’re all from Blackwater Raiders or Moon Guard… so why are they here ruining things on WrA?

The worst thing about it is that their names appear to be “normal,” in that they’ve used the randomizer to generate them. They also have a very odd flight pattern that I can only assume is to make it more difficult to click on them for reporting.

You probably don’t spend a lot of time in RP phase Warmode- they’re way popular over there. They’ve been here all year, just gathering flowers, mining ore, and killing mobs in massive pulls.

As for why they’re ruining things on WrA outside of warmode, it’s because they know we’re a low-pop RP server that has mostly Horde, and roleplayers aren’t above buying bots. They like having resources without having to spend time getting them. If they’re degenerate enough to do everything else Moonguard is known for, buying bots is really just dropping the other shoe.

They’re from Blackwater Raiders server and are using a WRA anchor to farm here.

It’s greed. Nothing more. There will never be enough bots, enough gold, enough tokens to sate it.

Welcome to capitalism!

As a Goblin I’m required to say this at least once a year.

Trains and trains of Evokers on Red Drakes.

Remember when Blizz actively pro-monitored this game, in the game?

“Memory, all alone in the moonlight…”

I’ve only seen that once. It was the day somebody in my guild gave their alt a name that wasn’t acceptable and then talked in trade. I think it took 5 minutes for the GM to appear in Org and talk to him while changing his name. We laughed at him so hard. It was a “told you so” moment.

Okay yeah they’re in warmode too and there’s a ton of them. And they’re babysitting with an absolutely degenerate composition of classes.
Unfortunately Horde on the RP phases is anemic when it comes to Warmode player count, so it’ll just be there mostly uncontested.

Update: Hired some mercs and we dusted them. Thanks, Nemesis and Red Valor!

Yeah, I remember coming across a group of four bots and one actively playing person late at night, farming the water/air elementals in SE Ohn’ahran plains cause the WQ was up and forced those elementals to hyperspawn.

Thankfully, they didn’t seem to have PvP gear and had pretty bad PvE gear, so I was able to make short work of them on my guardian druid and camped them until they stopped rezing.

Oh, what I’d give to have the N’zoth toy work in DF areas… (…cause I’ve seen horde bot groups too, sadly :frowning: )
