Right now as I’m writing this 30+ level 111 druids are running in and out of Iron Docks, obviously botting, this has been going on for at least an hour. What’s stopping Blizz form paying several employees from monitoring dungeon entrances and banning these bots?
It’s impossible to monitor every dungeon instance for every player to see if people are botting
They could pay employees to take shifts and monitor dungeon entrances.
Okay think of it.
Every player gets their own dungeon instance. Every server has the outside entrance if you’re talking about that.
Take all that into account, it’s quite impossible to find that many people to just sit there and watch
nope, crz.
What is crz again? Cross realm something?
zones.
realms don’t really exist out in the world anymore… they’re just a login designation.
What is even in Iron Docks worth botting for…
Also it used to be Halls of Lightning for the longest time. My and a friend used to sometimes go up there on a PvP server and mess with them for a bit during like the Valentines event since that was a decent place at the time for charm farming. The bots never fought back and it was amusing to try and get them stuck and see their pathing AI wig out and stuff.
I have seen a few Demon Hunter bots at Halls of Lightning
Why aren’t the bots 120? Is it just easier to get the bots to 111 and deck them out in crafted greens? I also don’t ever remember making much gold from running Iron Docks.
That would be a massive tax on the company, and incredibly inefficient. It would be roughly equivalent to a Walmart manager asking their employees to take shifts watching specific sections of the wall to keep people from stealing, taking time out of their shifts to just guard this one section of the wall from would be thieves.
Besides that there are many more botters abusing open world farming spots where mobs appear quickly, so it wouldn’t be effective either.
Everyone knows Blizz can afford it. And it would be an effective way of banning bots instead of waiting a few months and doing mass ban waves like they are now
And don’t forget all the shards
Picturing what kind of setup it would take to watch EVERY instance in every shard for just one realm is blowing my mind lol
Legion speed legendaries would be my guess
I’m pretty sure the devs have tool capable of detecting people entering and leaving dungeons. They simply don’t want to lose the sub money.
They are most likely multiboxers than bots. Multiboxing is ok to do.
Also aren’t you the same person who has been spam creating this same thread? Thats a fast way to get banned on the forums.
What is multiboxing exactly? I’ve never gotten a clear definition. And no this is my first post.
Multiboxers are those using a program to replicate keystrokes on multiple accounts. Usually all on follow to the leader.
Botting is when everthing is automated and there is little to no user interaction where a program is controlling everything.
Blizz no care. They are paying subs after all.
Everything a user do in this game is logged.
I am sure these logs are analysed by softwares…
