The accounts have the spawn on a timer and log in, pick the mushroom, then log out. People playing the game can’t get the mushrooms. In hinterlands Skull Rock cave.

Absolutely delusional lol
Bots come in and do stuff that people don’t want to do for themselves. If people wanted to pick mushrooms bots would not exist.
You could start your own grassroots movement spreading the joys of farming mushrooms. As more players farm their own mushrooms, there will be less demand for bots. Supply itself will become constrained making botting less rewarding. As the community comes together the number of bots will dwindle.

The mushrooms dont respawn in exactly the same spots… and rogues and druids who can stealth around still need to kill 1-2 mobs close to the spawn points. Yes bots may frequent this cave on some servers… but they cant stop you totally.
As a rogue flower picker all I do is slay people going for my mushrooms.
I think it’s ridiculous these things only spawn in this one place (not counting the dungeons). Druids and rogues just need to sit there stealthed while you pull the mob away from the node. Another stupid thing in this game is how you have to camp a vendor in Winterspring to buy a pattern for a gold that people are selling for 150 gold on the AH.
I’m only getting 95 for it.
They spawn in three places
- that cave
- with the elites in hinterlands
- maraudon (can get a lot there including a couple of spawns outside)
They also can drop off lvl 48-49 thistleshrubs in tanaris (but low drop rate).
Theres a vendor in darkmoon faire who sells herbs on a 30 min timer -I got 6 there.
The limited spawns for such a sought after herb are a problem though.
its probably not bots who do this. i know in other games people would log chars at static spawns and just set alarms.
so what’ OP is saying is that … you no take mushroom?
