I constantly see boomkins and monks farming instant elemental spots for motes (Rousing fire, air, etc.)
I report them but they stay active and farm. There’s also been a couple of instances where I have received a notification, “thank you for the report” and I will flew by the main spot I see them in Waking Shores and they are always still there? What gives? Do we still have gamemasters actually looking over these reports? I can’t be the only one reporting them.

Are you sure they’re bots and not just players that love really boring grinds?

it’s a lie the forums told me people only wanted regular flying here to bot imagine people really wanting regular flying cause they enjoy it more not to bot cause people are already botting.

As mentioned before, single reports on sole bots arent going to do anything as they will just pop up again in droves, as both the players and Blizzard have seen over the years.
Its more for them to see where the bots are, see what is driving them, and then in a few ban waves a year, take out as many as they can before they figure out how to route the system again.
So the reports help, but they are not an instant solution.

They have to be bots, It’s the some of the same people sometimes different. All stand in the exact same spot. Don’t move and tags instant respawns with AoE.
I mean, if you’re farming to farm, then you’re farming to farm.
I got reported for leveling fishing once.
Just because people have different ways of playing the game than you do doesn’t mean they’re bots.
Nor does it mean they’re bots if they don’t talk to you.
Edit: I’m not saying bots don’t exist. Of course they do. And it’s a genuine problem. But don’t assume someone’s a bot just because they’re watching a movie farming the same spot.
Besides, as mentioned, a single report on a single bot isn’t going to get them removed. Especially when they’re paying for a sub.

I’ve seen a few on my server, but they hide in strange spots that aren’t typically traveled, so they don’t bother me since I don’t care what people do to get stuff. Always stay in your lane and try not to get involved with what other people are doing. You don’t want to be that old person screaming at kids walking near your lawn.
I don’t believe that a human player would stay in the exact same spot for 10+ hours not move even one step and spam the same abilities in a row over and over.
You just want to argue.
I know right all this time those pro dragon riding cultists who hate regular flying and wanted it removed have been lying the whole time it is a good thing Blizzard doesn’t listen to whining selfish cultists who only want to ruin how others play the game.

Maybe they do want to argue, but what you’re describing is not botting. Its, in my opinion, a terrible way to spend 10+ hours playing.
What I’m describing is botting.
You can’t determine that… you can report and let Blizzard determine if automation is being used.
I can determine that because I have a brain, and know that this is botting.
Glad it took them long enough for me to make my million or so farming ore, lol
Now that I got it banked, Im good for a long while.
Yeah, follow one of the herbing tauren druids and the movement heavily suggests that it’s a bot. Take a peek at the acc and sure enough it’s fresh, and then there’s the gibberish throwaway name.
I also forgot to mention there are a lot of times where it’s multiple people stacked on top of each other.
I did that multiboxing farming world trash.
My favorite thing was bumping into a multiboxing herb druid after they made it against the rules, popping out of stealth and going “yo” and they’d stop what they were doing and frantically hit their prowl macro to prevent me from reporting them. It didn’t work, but still funny.
