Seriously it’s getting bad. I play on pagle, and there are times where the only players in a zone besides me are bots.
I report everyone I see, and they are still there in the same spot the next day, and the next, etc, etc.
How is it blizzard has done nothing about this problem? Soon bots will outnumber actually people.

What “pressure”? Can we “make” Blizzard do something, by demanding it in forum threads?
Especially when what we ask is something vague like “fix bots”. We don’t know how, but we demand that Blizzard knows how, and does it.

Why are bots a bad thing? They pay sub fees and they are good for the economy they make it so valuable goods are cheaper

That actually ruins the gathering trades for anyone who doesn’t bot. It’s very difficult to compete with a machine that does work 24-7 and under cuts my herbs by 50%.

Haha, what. Even without tools I assume GMs have (teleportation, the ability to read reports and chat logs, script detection flags, probably some sort of “noclip” mode that allows them to fly around at high speeds while invisible) I could easily cull the bots on my server.
They aren’t subtle. They run the same dungeons 24/7, follow the same routes 24/7, THEY EVEN HAVE GUILDS FOR BOTS ON MY SERVER. Even with perfect automation there’s still a significant time investment to get a bot character to 60 so they’re able to farm, let alone whatever the standard BoE loadout costs them.
If I spent an hour a day bot hunting I would make it completely unprofitable to bot on my server.
But I’m a player, and I don’t have a vested interest in letting bots continue to pay subscription fees like Blizzard does.

You should want the bots gone because they harm you too by making it very difficult to sell crafted goods on the AH also.
I don’t do that either, they make flasks cheaper which is what i care about
Well they gather at a much slower pace than traditional players, Bots by my account are not much better than a normal player attempting to farm.
The only difference or advantage they have rather, is persistence / being 247.
You should still easily be able to farm your own nodes and out preform other bots, and on a PvP server - they make easy pickings for people.
If you don’t gather and you don’t craft then where do you get your gold?
Oh wait, you are in favor of the bots, now I think I see a situation here.

True, but i am told they also can now farm private instances. That has me legitimate worried.
Just tells ppl buy 60s or gold. More bots more buyers.
Or some ppl risk using bots to be either band or any type spyware on thier computer.
Most bots would probably use a vpn.
I would track said vpn if I was blizzard or set up vpns. Then get the bots true locations.

This is where you are wrong. They sell gold and make inflation ramp up exponentially. You should take an economics class one day.
