My inbox of customer support ‘‘thank you for reporting’’ is growing again. They are being banned but clearly the market for buyers is back so its worth it to just churn out accounts. Sad.

Edited to add: there is 100% a bot going around for warriors in pvp to attack the first thing they run into. Absolute Willing code.

LOL I know what this means… kek, very sad.

Also some people be using scripts too… very annoying.

Yep. These people are absolutely despicable. I’d like to share Doctor Kevorkian’s contact information with them if you know what I mean.

Speaking of, you need to talk to name removed in your guild, he keeps afk botting AV, he was gone for a few weeks and he’s back doing it.

This I didn’t know. Ill be polite and tell him he has been noticed. I doubt the guild leader would like his lack of effort.

Not only has he been noticed, he’s been called out and told people they were ‘‘losers’’ and need to be ‘‘smart like him’’ lol

That reminds me of another alliance warrior who doesn’t playhard.

What class he play? Spriest? I’m not on I can’t look at the moment

Yeah shadow priest

I think he is newish to the guild, I remember seeing him I think guildless in WSG complaining about he had to change his name… Maybe 2 months ago.

Either way ill let the boss know.

Just the price of Era remaining popular and retaining a stable playerbase.

Bots will go where they believe they can sell their time for the most gold and/or dollars, which isn’t SoD or Cata anymore.

Bots and the classic community have largely coalesced back into Era because it has never really died. Some specific servers have very low pop, but there are has always been a dedicated crowd on the larger clusters, despite the saturation of other game versions.

I hope this is not Glider bot returned in a new upgraded version.

I don’t understand why the open world bots aren’t automatically detected and banned within minutes. Their patterns and behavior are totally unsophisticated so very simple algorithms should be effective. Add in the human labels that a bot is a bot and it’s baffling that they go unbanned, in some cases after 6+ months.

There are so many types of bots now days, the super advanced ones in retail arena are near unbeatable outside of the best R1 players because they dont make mistakes.
