Both versions are in a crappy state

Except for the multiple people in this very thread? O.o?

Stop playing dumb, you spend enough time on these forums to know the sentiment of the majority. This sentiment extends both inside and outside of the game.

Unless you can cite a scientific study that declares BFA was bad, you don’t have any evidence and as such, you’re WRONG.

oh really?
Bust out a copy of Battlecruiser 3000ad and tell me if ‘bad’ is just an opinion after playing for a day or so.
Bad IS bad many times. Opinion has no bearing on it.

I mean, bad is an opinion. Always will be. No matter what it is, there is always someone who will enjoy it.

Oh, and something cannot be labelled as “universally hated” if even one person enjoys it. Mutually exclusive.

Except it really isn’t. WoD is literally the worst expansion.

  • Lack of content, one terrible BG, awful story, no social aspect, first major patch centered around a toy, huge drop in subs

And as you can tell here, a couple of people are saying the same thing I am. BFA isn’t the worst. It’s not good though.

I’d take WOD over BFA any day. BFA doesn’t feel like WoW. WOD for all its flaws still did.

Do you people not have any taste?

Do you not understand references to one of the best movies ever made?

Sheesh…

He definitely should’ve said “generally disliked.” Which it was. The proof is everywhere.

But then this guy is trying to say he speaks for the majority of the community

sometimes bad is just bad. When vast numbers of people see it like that, all the white knighting in the world doesnt change it.
I honestly think blizzard could dump dog feces on a plate and serve it up and some players would still call it ‘good’ just because its blizzard, lol

Say the person who admits to not having played any of the other WoW xpacs in question and then makes a claim of a universally understood opinion this not shared by multiple people in this very topic?

Here is my list BC>MoP(only 2nd because Blizzard added CRZ and server merges at the end of it otherwise it would be 1st by a mile)>Wrath>BfA>Legion(because the first half sucked so bad)>Cata>WoD.

As an impartial arbiter, I will set the terms of the Mak’gora:

(1) Parties shall be armed with pool noodles,
(2) The Mak’gora shall take place in a twenty-foot-diameter wading pool,
(3) The wading pool shall be filled with lime green Jell-O.

I’ll be selling popcorn and margaritas, one gold each.

I was explaining that they were not my own opinions… I’m admitting I can read.

You guys are obviously void elfing or have somehow missed every WoD > BfA thread.

How does it not feel like WoW and WoD does? AU warlords were the biggest shark jump in the history of WoW. WoD had the mission tables as a primary point of the game. It made solo playing in your Garrison the most lucrative method of earning gold.

All you are doing is proving you can read titles because if you go into those topics and read you will see plenty of posters telling them they are wacked.

Mostly the Diablo 3 style borrowed gameplay. RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG, treadmill content (M+), that sort of stuff doesn’t feel like Wow, let alone an RPG. WOD to me still felt like MOP, which while different still felt like the WoW of old.

The same thing can be said for anyone claiming it’s been good. Dunno what you’re expecting here bud :woman_shrugging:

Which ones favoured BfA? The post and like count is always in favour of WoD.

IMHO, was a let down from cata onward. Playable yes (ok I couldn’t play cata it was just that bad and after two weeks I left again lol) but a game I would think “dang I wish I could get this done so I could go play wow” hasn’t happened since pre-cata. Some of those expansions were made playable by the playerbase, the people were fun enough to make a boring game ok…sadly its changed and the toxic waste dump of chats makes this for the most part a single player game with very little appeal.

So you are saying then that WoD is also > Legion? WoD was flat out missing content, so you are basically saying no content is better?

Also what aspects of WoD do you feel made it feel like a RPG more then legion or BfA? Were repeating daily quest in WoD > Repeating WQ in Legion or BfA? Was having a half finished story in WoD > then having tons more story in BfA? Was basically having nothing new added to characters (and haivng the stat squish and pruned) more rpg then the mutliple new systems added in legion and BfA more RPG?
