Both ERA and HC PTR’s are down with 0 communication from Blizzard?
The other servers (WOTLK etc) all seem to be available again.
Blue Post mind telling us whats going on or if this is a planned (and long term) situation with the servers being brought offline again for a week?
A Test realm is down and you didn’t get a hand delivered alert from blizzard via bonded courier?
The horror.
Typing in a paragraph on their own forum saying “We’re taking X down for patching for a week, or, We’re being impacted by a Russian DDOS again” is really hard, you’re 100% correct.
I mean who are we to expect communication, it’s not like were paying for the product either right?
They told you. Perhaps checking the PTR forum every now and then.
Considering they just had connection issues, it is possible they brought them down to focus on live service issues.

I remember reading a post saying they were taking the PTRs offline. Besides they are just test realms, they can be up and down like a brides nightgown.
They can take them down when ever to make adjustments its why its called a test realm.
Go find something else to do expecting blizzard to communicate everytime they take a test realm down is sad.
I’m not against Blizzard communicating, but at the end of the day the test servers are there for THEM not for us.
