Until Yesterday I was on Obsidian Edge, over the past week I gained 450k honor in order to hit rank 12 before transferring, the prior week I collected a similar amount which was enough to increase a full rank. Here are the rough results for Rollo on Obsidian Edge (Im sure your data can confirm this)
Week Feb 1 to 7 – ~430k honor farmed, got me from Rank 10 & 62% in to 11 and 67%
Week Feb 8 to 15 – ~450k honor farmed, dropped me from Rank 11 & 67% to Rank 11 & 60%
I devoted 60+ Hours to get this rank update, as I’m sure many others did across all the transferring servers to hammer out that last rank. We did this because you decided to open transfers mid Honor Week (And we already know transferring deletes your current weeks Honor).
To my surprise and everyone else’ ranking up, something happened when the system transferred and we virtually all went down in rank? This is a complete subversion of expectation, the ranking pools should not shift because of your decision to open transfers. I have spoken with other high ranking Obsidian Edge players, they have also been screwed over by the honor calculations, upset or furious would be an understatement.
I am here to say you have messed up and let us down, you must recalculate our rankings based on the Battleground Pools before transfers started, do it by the week before pool size if you have to.
I am going to cancel my sub if this isn’t fixed. I will not accept wasting 60-80 hours on your PvP system because your team couldn’t anticipate this. You have 15+ years of transfer experience, you could have told us or simply offered transfers on Tuesday. This is pure mismanagement and on you. Private servers aren’t run this poorly and if they are the administrators have enough character to fix their mistakes. Fix it or forget I was ever your customer.
