botani as an allied race would be amazing, plus you could steal some plant peoples from gw2 haha.

They kill other races and animals to use as fertilizer for their offspring. They don’t need us as friends, they need us as sustenance for ground nutrients.

I’ve always wanted a plant based race in WoW, I actually used a Uni project to come up with one a while ago.

It would also put an extinct outland/draenor race back into the game and a legit draenor race on alliance.
They’re not extinct tho, they came through the portal with the saberon and the Mag’har Orcs.
They were extinct in our universe.
Botani/Plant People would be great!
Those ones that looked like Groot in Draenor would be cool.

Not all. We do befriend a couple of them. And they only do what they need to keep the balance of nature in their territories. Those that encroached on it or threatened it were met with overwhelming aggression.
But I don’t see why we couldn’t come to an understanding with them all instead of a couple.
Of course, moot point. They’re all on old timeline Draenor and we can’t get there.
