Curious what he is gold farming. I know it is a bot because I was tracking him as he leveled. Was reported multiple times. Is he just pickpocketing mobs? Only place you see this character is inside here solo and unguilded.

Hundreds of pick pocket bots in every server just stay in BRD 24h a day avoiding the instance lockout because mobs inventory respawns every ~10 minutes to re-pick pocket
They are probably responsible for the bulk of gold being sold by RMT’ers
Pick pocketing for sure. Black Rock Spire is a fairly straight forward one to do, just not quite as profitable as BRD.

Yup and the teleport under mobs in the floor too.
Doubtful, while I’m sure BRD bots are making a portion of it from that but bot boosting mages seem to be a bigger portion of it along with the mining/herbing bots who jack up the prices on mats for things like consumes, a single plaguebloom node can provide as much as half an hour of a rogue bot farming BRD. (I did the pickpocket farm phase 1 for my epic mount with the ideal setup, only got bout 25gp/h to a vendor)
It comes from boosting.
My server has infinite booster runs, they run 24/7 just generating new gold for the server.
They are easily generating thousands of gold from trash drops and raw gold per day.
Mudflation is a thing that also affects the wow economy, there arent too many gold sinks in the game vs the amount that every killed mob adds to the game world.
