Bot Farm Spots, Free Honor, WM on

What are some other farm spot that we can patrol for free honor? On Sargeras I can go to the Pig farm in Fallhaven where I see “3 Players from certain servers” standing in the exact same spot casting the same spells over and over again farming pigs every single day.

I mean if Blizzard isn’t gonna do something about people botting, then at least we can compile a list of farm locations for free honor farming!

Why? is it against TOS? After all they are running a program to gain a unfair advantage in the game!

i think this is more about slowing down bots, rather than farming honor. :wink:

because it’s against the CoC, and the thread will get removed.
people can still see the location… the character names aren’t needed

No. It’s a typical anti-multiboxing thread, most of which are started by alts as their first post on the forum.

I am kinda new to pvp in general plus I’m on my alt. My main is Broconomics-Sargeras in you want to inspect him too :slight_smile:

All I needed to see was your honor level to know how much PvP you’ve done. It’s account-wide. Clearly you never had any interest in farming honor before, in the past 2 expansions.

Someone who clearly hasn’t been farming honor starts a thread as their first post advocating farming honor for fun. What am I missing?

Is this better? I swapped to my main! I skimmed thru the CoC and didn’t see in there where I can’t name players for botting… It does say no harassing other players on the forums.

Harassing or Defamatory

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

  • Insultingly refer to other characters, players, Blizzard employees, or groups of people
  • Result in ongoing harassment to other characters, players, Blizzard employees, or groups of people

If a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she will:

  • Be given a temporary ban from the forums, depending upon severity

Harassment takes many forms, and is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent. Repeatedly targeting a specific player with harassment can lead to more severe action. The idea behind this is to prevent any one player from consistently being uncomfortable in the forums.

I don’t feel like I have harassed these players…yet, I have called them out and brought attention to their actions. If I get a forum ban because of misinterpretation so be it.

Calling them out/naming players IS the harassment. We’re not being jerks, just telling you leaving your original post as-is will earn you a forum vacation. You are not allowed to call out players by name, no matter the circumstance. You are also not allowed to discuss any disciplinary actions, i.e. coming back to tell us in 3 days you got a forum ban for this post.

All you have to do is edit out the player names before a mod does it for you.

Yes it is even if the person/people in question are breaking in game rules we aren’t allowed to call out other players or GM’s on the forums.

I liked the edit of the names. Very good, you can’t be too careful. Don’t let “them” win by getting you punished that would just be so wrong.

Thank you. Sooo back to the Question at hand…Where are some other spots I can keep and eye out? Like I see the Pigs and Quillboars in Drustvar are a nice spot for botters. Where Else?

Suramar will have a lot of locations for free honour, all druids running the very same pathing with no deviation, nowhere near close enough to each other to be auto following, all bots.

Isle of Thunder near the raid entrance, boomies running around killing trolls in the exact same pathing, they must die.

Outside Iron Docks will have a fat pile of druids and DH’s, kill them all.

I don’t know if it’s possible to kill players inside the center shrine in vale, but in the lower level version of it, there is a big fat stack of demon hunters shadow melding on top of the raid finder guy, when they exit their LFR, they run a weird triangle path to the vendor and then back to the raid finder NPC to shadow meld again, they need to be slaughtered.

Probably even bots outside of Skyreach, they are begging to be clobbered over and over.

You can try Suramar, but the most efficient way to farm Honor is Battleground.
