Boss kill counter add ons?

Does anyone know if there is and if so what’s the best add on for tracking how many times you’ve downed a boss?

Edit-Question was answered! Rarity works perfectly once you learn it. Took me awhile but I’m in business.

Might make another post on this later to help the community learn how to add items to Rarity if this thread gets lost in the Nether. I couldn’t find any walkthroughs or anything so learning that by myself took a little time.

For mounts is Rarity

Rarity is the closest I can think of, but it’s only useful for bosses that drop mounts.

its not useful for bosses that drop anything else thats rare?

Nuff said!

Pretty sure it tracks more than mounts, though.

If a boss has any rare item, it should record your kills and give you some info on the actually rarity of said items.

I believe it does. More specifically it may be limited to just mounts, pets and toys.

Im looking for a way to count my legion boss kills specifically

Reading through the description on Curseforge…

You can make it track anything you want. I haven’t actually played around with it to see what else it can do, not sure if it’s complicated or not.

The default setup was enough for my needs.

Another I noticed was KillTrack. This will track everything though including regular mobs. Gives you some stats in the tooltip on mouseover.

Have not tried this one myself yet. Looks interesting.

I’m currently scouring curse forge for a specific add on but if u mean that add on itself…Umm I guess ill have to re download it and see if i can play with it.

Yeah KillTrack was the closest to what you’re describing, but it looks like it tracks every mob.

Yes, my previous post was referring to Rarity.

So I found out how to do it but Can’t find an import string for the specific item, and from what I can tell not many people care to look for it,

wish rarity wasn’t the only add on that tracked things, people want to track rare weapons so on.

I like what rarity does in telling you your percentage chance of seeing said item. but not 100% required as most people look that up before starting but would still be nice to see your getting closer to your goal

You can find the ID’s you need in wow head to customize the tracker of rarity.

I figured this out! Its actually very user friendly. I was confused at first but its super simple. Funnily enough My biggest issue was finding the NPC ID but Kill Tracker the other add on you suggested shows the exact Kill ID of every NPC. So those two add ons actually go hand in hand. But all you really need is item ID, NPC ID, and its statistical drop rate. Attempts/Chance

that was the hardest part for me because it didn’t let me add the wowhead percentage chance so I had to put in numbers until I saw it say 0.50% 1-200 drop rate basically.

So I have a little while to go apparently but ITS WORKIING! its tracking my kills, Attempts! everything! I love this add on now! thank you so much for telling me about it.

It’s very user friendly and I spent a few hrs trying to add something and it really only should of taken me 5 minutes. I just didn’t understand what it was asking for awhile so I Thought Id share.

You can ignore quest ID and stuff for random boss kills. Luckily.

Sorry for the late response. Great to hear!

You’ve inspired me to have a better look at it myself.

I actually made a Guide and posted it in wow Forums if it gives you trouble! Because I couldn’t find any on google or you tube.

Doesn’t DBM already have an inbuilt boss kill counter??

Feels like for raids only but not 100% sure but I do like the percentile analytics it gives in rarity.
